Publisher's summary

Falcon Hyatt may have discovered the menace threatening the city of K'vitch, but he now faces his most dangerous challenge to date.

His hometown of Ladria has been sacked and is under the control of the dreaded general, Draknorr. Forced into servitude and slavery, more of his people die every day. Unsatisfied with control over just one city, the Suteckh Empire is now recruiting the most powerful clans of Va'siel, determined to take control of the planet once and for all.

To complicate matters, the murderous Shal-Volcseck has put the final phase of his plan in action. He's in need of one more elemental emblem: Holy. The same element possessed by Falcon's childhood friend, Faith Hemstath.

From a shocking revelation about his closest friend, to the unexpected allies deep in the land of Missea, Falcon is headed on a collusion course with his turbulent past, and his uncertain future. All the while he struggles to keep the chaos energy from overtaking him.

In the thrilling conclusion to the Void Wielder trilogy, Falcon and his friends Aya, Sheridan, Faith, and Hiromy must stop the dual threat of the Suteckh Empire and Shal-Volcseck, or watch Va'siel be washed away in a wave of destruction.

Good, but could have been better

This series was good but I think it would have been better if the MC wasn't so emotionally immature. I wanted to bash my head on the desk on several different occasions.

He just gets worse and worse...

Characters are supposed to develop. Learn, grow and mature over time. This one becomes progressively more childish. I couldn't finish, even though I was curious which, if any, of the love interests could put up with him.
