Beautifully written
Alyson did an excellent job of pulling in personal stories and insights to really connect with her teen readers. The tools she provides for "surviving " the teens years are priceless. She discussing everything from body image to emotional stress and everything in between. As a parent I found this insightful and useful for my budding teen (but to also help me understand and remember those years).

Wow great resource
This is a great resource for teens or anyone wanting to work on their issues and self esteem. Practical advice to help you work through things that are keeping you tied in knots. My new favorite thing is NDD. Nature deficit disorder. I agree with the author that we need to all go outside more and have more fun.

straight-up honest, and works
Again and again, the author provides relatable examples, stories and explanations to support the message of improving your self-esteem. I appreciated that the book was no fluff, and I was learning things that I have never had the chance to learn in all my years, well into adult-hood.
This quote “you’re supposed to happy, but not 100% of the time” will always stick with me.
This book would be an incredible resource to any teen - even if they’re not struggling with self esteem. Who knows when you’re going to need a boost? Even adults would benefit a lot. Great narration too - very easy and pleasant to listen to.

Important Read For Teens and Parents
Awesome book regarding resilience and self esteem for young adults in their developing years, and also for parents! Especially poignant in times where challenges come from “reality” and “virtual reality” with alarming rapidity. I'd recommended for: teens; parents of teens/tweens; and educators.

Very Informative and Instructive.
The audiobook provides a close strategy on how you can build your self-esteem. The benefits of high self-esteem for improved mental and physical health, better social relationships, and less anti-social behavior can not be over-emphasized. This has been elaborately treated here. The book helps to uncover the qualities in you, and most essentially it gives you the tools and tips to unravel and strengthen yourself. Other very instructive information provided includes tips on stress and coping strategies and the many phases of low self-esteem
This is a must-read book for all parents and caretakers of kids with poor self-esteem. I have found it very instructive and informative.
