Self Help Book Ideal for Companies
Would you try another book from Al Mentoring and/or JC Anonymous?
Yes. Mentoring’s self-help book is easily organized, and is a quick, helpful read for anyone looking to resolve difficult personal or work relationships. Geared toward managers and team members, this book could provide a quick activity at company meetings. Conversely, it can be read on personal terms, on a walk, at the gym, or in during a commute.
Would you be willing to try another book from Al Mentoring? Why or why not?
Yes. The author analyzes several personality types, including lazy, arrogant, ignorant, negative, and dramatic. He gives substantial cause-and-effect examples of interactions with toxic people, and then provides tips on how to cope with their presence in the workplace or in a social setting. Mentoring gives useful advice on how to overcome these undesirable personality types by observing their behavior objectively. The author uses hypothetical situations to give objective advice to keep the situation positive and healthy for all parties involved.
Would you listen to another book narrated by JC Anonymous?
The content of the book is easily consumed; however, at times the narrator is difficult to understand. He speaks clearly but without flow. Once accustomed to the narrator’s way of reading, his diction becomes easier to understand, along with the content.

Don't be difficult
What made the experience of listening to How to Cope with Difficult People the most enjoyable?
Learning its a little bit of you and a good chunk of the other person when it comes to dealing with people. Some people are difficult, but you need to know where they might be coming from and how to handle that.
Who was your favorite character and why?
No characters, just me and the narrator learning.
What does JC Anonymous bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Someone actually saying it out loud. Sometimes you don't believe it until you hear it.
What insight do you think you’ll apply from How to Cope with Difficult People?
How to get along with people. You see, I AM the difficult person, so maybe if I knew what people were doing to get along with me, I will be able to change my ways.

It's not all about them
Probably the best takeaway from this book was understanding there isn't anything I can do to control how other people are. I can work to understand where they're coming from, but they are who they are and I am who I am.
Once you understand that, you can either accept it and move on, or dwell on it and let it keep bothering you. One of those options is going to make you a lot happier than the other.

Yes, it might come in handy when you find yourself dealing with people that aren't easy to get along with.

I am unsure of any books that revolve around dealing with difficult people.

This one is quite emphatic, where others are not as much. It was rather entertaining however, due to the fact that some parts of the book were designed to be dramatic.
