What is lupus disease? It's a question that has baffled doctors and medical researchers for decades, and there's still not a real good answer to that question. There are many things that one should know about this disease. Lupus is an uncommon disorder that can be quite challenging. Story
Despite being relatively unheard of, endometriosis affects an estimated one in 10 women worldwide. That's roughly 190 million people, and due to misdiagnosis, there's likely many more who are suffering without treatment. Getting a diagnosis of endometriosis can feel like a blessing and a curse. Knowing that you're not going crazy or blowing things out of proportion can be a huge relief. However, a diagnosis can also lead to feelings of isolation and discouragement - especially when you’re faced with treatment options that seem extreme. But don't despair - you aren't alone.

Appalling narration
The narrator sounded like a text to speech program or robot. It gave a very uncaring or cold feel to the book.
That being said and out of the way. I do not recommend the auditory listening this book if you have never researched anything else about lupus. It initially caused me to worry and then it began to instill an undertone of worthlessness or hopelessness. Ouch, right? You may think this review is a little harsh however, that is the mind-state that the book put Me In. And listening to the sample does it no justice.

Very basic, poorly written, but useful
It was just odd. It was almost like a pamphlet. I was already pretty educated due to being diagnosed several months ago and doing lots of research. So didn’t mean anything new and writing style was off putting. Mainly, i couldn’t tell the voracity of the medical info in there. I was not confident it was legit. That being said u did learn a few tidbits about outlook, handling stress, and preventing flares.
