If you aren't prepared ahead of time, you may find yourself emotionally and physically burnt out—which will also negatively impact the quality of life for your loved one as a result.
If you want to learn how to give your loved one the best memories of their life as they enter early-stage dementia, then you need to listen to this audiobook.
Inside Dementia Must-Knows, you will discover:

- The three progressive stages of dementia and their symptoms.
- Understanding the distinction between Alzheimer's and Dementia.
- The dos and don'ts of caring for stubborn or difficult loved ones.
- The six types of caregivers.
Including so much more information and knowledge that will teach you everything you need to know in preparation for your caregiving journey.

In-depth case studies from the All Is Well Clinic delve into interventions with real patients, where Dr. Mona Lisa uses intuition to pinpoint issues, and she and Louise discuss the medical solutions and affirmations that can help restore well-being.

Knowledge to thrive through giving
This is such an important piece of work! Caring for a loved one with dementia (or even other degenerative conditions) can hit us out of nowhere. It is already difficult to deal with the fact that our beloved are changing and might not be acting like themselves, but caring for another human can be so draining. This listen is informative as it covers the types + stages of dementia and basic information about this condition, but it also provides much needed tools for caregivers to cope and maintain their own health and well-being through these challenging times. I will listen once again and write a checklist of things to remember (behavior, meds, nutrition, etc).

Powerful and Timely!
My mom has been showing signs of dementia, so when I saw this book, I grabbed it fast. I am so very thankful that this author has put together this guide. I realize that a lot of my fears were based on being ignorant of the facts surrounding dementia. It can be very overwhelming for those caring for someone living with dementia, so the more you know, the better it will be for you and your loved one. The do's and dont's in this book have prepared my sisters and me for what may come and will certainly give us a stronger foundation to work on and support our mom. This will make a good gift for families and friends also. Great job!

Give Your Loved One the Best Memories
I know how hard it is to watch someone you love disappear into themselves and become a shell of who they used to be. It breaks your heart every time they forget a moment you shared or something you know they cherished. I listened to this book across a number of days and ended up wishing I had had it about five years ago. There are things I would have done differently, I know that for sure. I felt comforted, though - like someone really, truly, understands, and that's the main reason I would recommend this book.

much-needed assistance
The title is accurate. This book successfully untangled all the tangles around this subject and offers caregivers, family members, and friends much-needed assistance. Narrated in an engaging manner, with the intention of offering aids, advice, and direction. I now know a great deal more than I did before. Sometimes it is difficult to witness someone with this condition being so helpless, but with this guide, any uncertainty over how to behave at various times and in various circumstances is eliminated. Excellent work.

Perfect for a new dementia caregiver
There are sooooooo many amazing tips and helpful tricks for dealing with someone who has dementia. It can be so overwhelming and honestly lonely when you're taking care of a loved one with dementia and its easy to feel lost. I had no idea how to handle my grandpa when he starting going through the early stages of dementia, especially when he would yell at me and perseverate on things that were out of mine and his control. This audiobook couldn't have been more helpful in guiding me through these rough waters. It goes into detail on describing how dementia onsets and how to understand what someone with dementia is thinking and how their mind works. I can't recommend this audiobook enough.

a helpful handbook
Dealing with dementia isn't easy. For both the person with dementia, and people caring for the person as well. This book is a very helpful handbook for caregivers who look after people with dementia. The book starts with the definition of dementia, types of dementia, and stages of dementia. With a deep understanding of dementia, we'd be better equipped to recognize different behaviors. The book also introduces how to take care of people with dementia from many perspectives, and the caregiver self-care as well.

Very interesting audiobook!
Dementia can be such a big problem when its family and when its someone you've spent your whole life with. Not knowing what to do and what to expect is common but this book has some great information to help you prepare and overcome common problems that will arise. This book goes over the difference between Alzheimer's and Dementia which I had not idea and is important to know what each one is. Great book for caregivers and people going through this condition with family!

Helpful resource
Being a caregiver can be overwhelming and a difficult experience, however guides like this can be used as a helpful resource for support. The author does a great job of covering everything from head to toe - starting with what could be possible early symptoms of dementia to what kind of caregiver you should be. I would highly recommend this book to any caregiver or in general, if you have a loved one in your life who has dementia. It is a great guide to understand what they are going through and how you can help them.

Be Prepared for Challenges
Four years ago, I became the caregiver for my wife, who was 72 at the time. She had a diagnosis of stage 4 lung cancer. I was unprepared for the challenges that would engulf my life during the last two years of her life. This author is sharing knowledge and personal experience about dementia. You will learn that Dementia is not a specific disease but a general term for the impaired ability to remember, think, or make decisions that interfere with everyday activities. Alzheimer's disease is the most common type of dementia. Though dementia mainly affects older adults, it is not a part of normal aging. This book is written to help those who may now or in the future will serve as a caregiver for someone that they love. Inside the book, you will find practical knowledge, uncover challenges, and understand the different roles of dementia that a caregiver should know in advance. A summary and home care best tips are at the end of each chapter.
