Loved this book. It enlights simple and direct ways we usually can communicate, but we don't pay attention to them. It gives the reader/listener the awareness of the impact we may give in a conversation, opening the perspective of how we communicate, and what tools we can use in order to connect with others. Beautiful work and greatly written!

Little Tricks

It's just what it says it is. It reminds the reader of the subconscious message sent by some poor communication skills, that we inadvertently put out into our relationships. I liked the practical examples.

The Fine Art of Communication

Communication is not a strong point of mine. Never has been, and I thought, never will be. I was afraid of small talk, I was afraid of not knowing what to say after the initial conversation has ended, and worst of all, I had a bad habit of panicking when someone through me a question off the cuff. I typically wouldn't know how to answer, so I might say something that didn't make too much sense and I would come off as dumb. I think that is changing since listening to this audiobook and learning the 101 little tricks to be successful when talking to anyone. This book has boosted my self-confidence already after listening two time through already. I have learned how to start conversations, how to make small talk, and how to recover when a conversation goes bad. This chapter, I need to listen to a few more times to master these skills as it is daunting to me. I am so grateful for this audiobook, and I can't recommend it enough for anyone who despises communicating people like I used.
