The biggest psychiatric breakthrough of the 21st century, IV ketamine infusion therapy, rescues patients from the dark pit of tough-to-treat depression. More than two-thirds of patients improve!
Explore this innovative treatment's benefits through this step-by-step guide. Written by a scientist and long-time ketamine patient, this extraordinary story of ketamine's triumph over suicidal thoughts will revive your hopes.
While ketamine continues saving lives, myths and miseducation prevent patients from discovering this lifeline. This book's candor extends beyond ketamine's upsides. The potential downsides, including "bad trips," are also discussed clearly and transparently.

The author provides an excellent description of the user experience. He also provides good tips on how to find a reputable clinic and provides good information about what to do before and after treatment.
The only area I disagree is the notion that anesthesiologist can provide a better experience. As a fellowship trained psychiatrist I’m in a unique position to evaluate the progress of my patients treatment as well as administered treatment. I can see the point which is why for the first year of operation I had an anesthesiologist as a consultant. Well, this is comforting in hindsight, I don’t believe it was clinically necessary as a good physician is already equipped and already has the knowledge needed to administer this medication.
