Critic reviews

Tense, twisty, addictive and deeply emotive, If You Didn’t Kill Her is a cleverly written, utterly compelling read that had me furiously turning the pages and guessing all the way to the nail-bitting denouement. Unmissable! (A.A. Chaudhuri)
An absolutely gripping thriller that combines a seductive setting, a twisty plot, and complex characters...I devoured this book in a day - unputdownable! (Heather Darwent)
Brilliantly twisty and fast-paced...I couldn't put it down! (Lisa Hall)
A creepy, twisty page-turner where nothing is as it seems...immersive and atmospheric, an incredible novel. I couldn't put it down. Highly recommended (Andrea Mara)
Honest, relevant, and full of twists. A seriously compulsive read! (Lauren North)

Good plot and character development. Narration good. Taylor is good at weaving the last and present into an entertaining tale.

Good slow burn mystery

I love the way this story unfolds, and the final scenes are so satisfying! Some stories with multiple timelines are confusing, but this was not at all, and was a great way to reveal things along the way!

great story

Great storyline, great performance, great characters and a good ending. I won't spoil it but the way the book ended was different. It summed everything up and didn't leave much to question but I would have loved to hear from the main character. The way this ended just didn't feel very personal. Still a fantastic read/ listen and narration was spot on a in her other books! Overall I love this one!

Another fantastic book by Annie Taylor!

Annie tells a gripping story about a young woman wrong accused of a brutal murder. She spends 15 years in prison trying to figure out who killed her friend. She pursues this journey when she is finally released, relentlessly chasing leads and interviewing possible suspects. No spoiler here, but the ending really caught me by surprise. This was a very good read, good suspense. I recommend it.

Great Mystery

I did not like this book at all. Granted I didn’t get too far into it, but I really tried to stick with it. I had to DNF because it felt like a YA novel and all the nonsensical unnecessary droning on and on blather about nothing between young girls, it just got to the point where I was going to rip my hair out or stop listening, so I chose the latter.
I have listened to good books by Annie Taylor, but this one was absolutely a waste of time in my opinion.
