About this listen
""The Woman on the Ledge blew me away like The Girl on the Train blew me away nearly ten years ago. Compulsive, clever and gasp out loud twisty, I absolute loved it."" — Lisa Jewell, author of None of This Is True
Obsession. Intrigue. Revenge. Whose secrets are you keeping? And why?
A woman falls to her death from a London bank’s twenty-fifth-floor roof terrace.
You're arrested for her murder.
You tell the police that you had only met the victim the previous night at your office party. She was threatening to jump down from the roof, but you had talked her down.
You've got nothing to do with this tragedy. You're clearly being framed.
So why do the police keep picking holes in your story? Even your lawyer doesn't seem to believe you.
It soon becomes obvious that you're keeping secrets.
But who are you trying to protect? And why?
Obsession. Intrigue. Revenge.
Get ready for one of the most twisty-turny novels you will listen to this year.

Clever
First book in a while I’ve looked forward to listening each day. I became invested in the story and the characters. Twisty and I had to repeat chapters occasionally to keep in the story. Definitely recommend. Haven’t made a recommendation in a long time.

Very good, but you have to pay close attention
This book was excellent, very well done, but can get confusing if you aren’t paying close attention, which is the only reason I didn’t give it five stars. The characters and story were incredibly compelling, and you never see the ending coming!

Nothing is what it seems. Amazing book!
I listened to this all day today. I couldn’t go to bed until I finished it. It has a very unique storyline, and the way it starts isn’t how it ends. It’s a book that’s going to stay with you. The characters are great. I could feel what they were going through. And the twists are all there.
The narrator is wonderful, and I want to find more from this author. This is the second book I’ve read from her, and both have been 5 stars books.

Wow! British! Top-notch!! Shines above and beyond!
I'm ecstatic that I discovered Ruth Mancini's gripping novel, “The Woman On the Ledge.” Creatively narrated by Annabel Scholey, this British duo has weaves a tale that captivated me from start to finish. Mancini crafts a complexellent web of unexpected secrets, lies and revenge, with an ensemble of intriguing characters that kept me craving more. Scholey's superb vocals bring the story to vivid life. A woman's fatal fall from a London bank’s rooftop sparks a thrilling investigation, with the culprit claiming innocence. But as the authorities dig deeper, it becomes clear that nothing is as it seems. With obsession, intrigue and revenge at its very core, “The Woman On the Ledge” is a heart-pumping, twisty-turny ride. I am definitely looking for more by these talented and precisely paired women. Get ready for a wild listen! If you're looking for an excitingly audictive and dazzling thriller, look no further, “The Woman On the Ledge” is a perfect choice. Grab this one nie. So worthy of an Audible credit, I cannot stress it enough. I most definitely want more! Epic, indeed!

Great story and even better narration!
From beginning to end, I was hooked and couldn’t wait to see what happened next. This was my introduction to Ruth Mancini, and I’m looking forward to reading more from her. I know it’s still early in 2024, but this may be the book of the year for me.
