Greer

Everyone’s perception of an MC princess is that she’s cherished and protected, but this MC "princess" was left to the wolves. My father, the loved Southern Chaotic president, dropped me like a bad habit when I was 13. My mother went off her rocker when I was 14. I had my first of many abortions when I was 15. Life for me was a whirlwind of angst and torment, but through all of that, the pain took the fear away and replaced it with yearning. I thirst for gratification that I’m not a replication of my legacy. I hunger for the day when my anxiety is replaced with reassurance.

Spook

I live my life for the Southern Chaotics. I have loved and lost to this club, but the brotherhood and acceptance have outlived the regret. I had a good woman, or so I thought. She left me for a rival club. I long for what some of my brothers have. I yearn for a woman to desire all that is me, and I crave to have a woman that I can depend on through thick, thin, and the s--t in between. I just need to find her so I can quench my thirst.

This is a standalone, but to better understand some of the situations, you should enjoy Minor Glitches and Major Conflict first. This audiobook is meant for an audience 18 and older. There are some scenes that may not be suitable for some listeners.

Third book in the Series

This is the third book in the Southern Chaotic's MC Series. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to connect with the main characters, Greer and Spook, but the storyline was well written and interesting. This was my first listen to Matt Standley's voice. He has a good pace and his voice was easy to listen. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Love Spook!

The series is consistently exciting and a so easy to fall in love with the character. The story of Greer, the daughter of Southern Chaotic's president is both happy and sad! Living with her mother, Greer's life has been full of abuse. Unknown to Rudy, her father, this has been going on for years until Greer finally runs away, scared, pregnant and to another MC. When things get dangerous, the clubs work together, and prospect, Spook becomes her protector, and protect her he does. The chemistry is hot, the danger intense, and the story is wonderful! The bonus for me in this story is the interaction of Spook with the baby. I love it when these tough, alpha men melt with the hand of a child, it makes the story that much more realistic.

Matt Standley is a new to me narrator, and for this series, I think he does a good job. I like his southern accent, though at times I do find it difficult to differentiate the characters. He does have a good pace and his voice is pleasing to listen to.
