MR. Cooper writing skills have grown immensely since this series was started
Mikael Naramore narration is well timed, well read, well spoken, and just plain "well done"
Excellent

So, Mark E. Cooper, please write the next several volumes of this series. Five more by June of 2020 doesn't sound unreasonable to me, look how much Alan Dean Foster writes & edits in a single year! ;)
Thanx!
HURRY UP & WRITE THE REST!!!

Caveat emptor: This book is the 5th in the series and I have not read any of the previous ones. In fact, I am not finishing this book right now because I am going to start from the beginning of the series. That being said, this is my review based on about 1.5-2 hours I have completed.
The narrator is one of the better I've listened to. Good range of character voices.
Story seems interesting. Starts out in the aftermath of some alien war where humans are allied with at least one other race against a mutual enemy. The ally race has a lot of detail and we see characters from their perspective. Interesting enough to get me to start from the beginning.
I believe that if you are a fan of this series, you probably have been anxiously awaiting this sequel.
Good narrator, story seems interesting

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This is a great audiobook. The narration is clear and engaging and the story itself is entertaining.Any additional comments?
This book doesn't just focus on the battles. It also focuses on the price that civilians and others pay by surviving attacks. Battles that are won don't always seem so when the costs are revealed.War is Hell

Where does Incursion rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This book ranks at the top of my audio book shelf. The reading was right on. The story continued to flow as the reader made the characters come alive. This was one where you didn't want to park the car until the book was over. What other book might you compare Incursion to and why?
The magnitude of the story, the scope of the scenes can only be compared to the entire series. No other book I've read comes close to developing characters with heart, fear, compassion and ruthlessness. If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
The lust of power and controlAny additional comments?
The reader makes the story come alive as if he was writing it on the fly. This takes an enormous amount of talent. His way with pauses and inflection makes one want to listen to the book several times. This book comes alive!

Mikael Naramore has given us another great narration. Mark Cooper continues the saga of war torn humanity in fighting against an alien species. He sets up under stories that will pull fully into the plot in upcoming books. There still is character development taking place which seems to slow the action pace and keep the plot resolution just out of sight. More answers are coming, keep reading:-)
