Amelia saved her parents, saved the US, and maybe even saved the world. But she's not out of it yet. Aliens are coming, and they aren't planning on playing nice.
When huge drones with unbelievable firepower fall from the sky, it's up to the Full Metal Superhero, some new friends, and old allies to stop them. However, alien drones aren't the only thing falling from the sky.
If Amelia can't find a way to defeat the drones and stop the threats from old enemies, she might just be at the end of her rope. If Arsenal falls...humanity falls with her.

As Good as the Others

The narrator has really become Amelia and when I read this book in print, I hear Amelia in her voice.
I’m going to continue this series.
Great book.

I love technology-minded superheroes! Especially when there is a continuous technological evolution! Looking forward to the next.
Best superhero series ever!

After the events of the previous book, Arsenal has been tasked by the President with building a new super team to protect Earth.
Many of the problems from the beginning of the series have been solved: The dialogue and internal monologue issues in the first two books in the series seem mostly resolved and any issues I had with the narrator are no longer noticeable. The rate of Arsenal's technological progress seems to have been slowed down to something more typical of a superscientist from the comic books.
There is some significant character development for the protagonist (though this is a short book, so that's inherently limited). And the world-building is also proceeding apace. The plot is a bit scattershot, but it moves well. The lack of focus does limit the impact of the story, though.
The one big problem I have with this book is that the ending is a full-blown cliffhanger. If I hadn't already acquired the next book, I would be angry, but as it is, I'm just annoyed. These books are quite short; there's no reason for them not to tell complete stories.
The book is entertaining enough for what it is, but it's very insubstantial. If you're a comic book fan, this isn't a bad effort, but if you're not, it's unlikely to make you one.
Cliffhanger

And then it ended. Only 4-1/2 freakin hours. Definitely not worth a credit since the quality of the content was not even there this time to make up for it. It didn’t even feel like a full book. I’m seriously considering breaking my if-you-finish-it-don’t-return-it rule.
Won’t be picking up the next. I hope the author creates combined pack for these books at some point.
Meh
