About this listen

Best-selling author Suzanne Brockmann blends high adventure, harrowing drama, and heart-racing passion into thrilling novels of suspense. Whether tackling danger or wrestling with desire, her elite heroes and heroines never fail to give their all in stories that soar above and beyond expectations. Now, in her electrifying 10th Troubleshooters novel, Brockmann takes us into the storm.

In a remote, frozen corner of New Hampshire, a Navy SEAL team and the elite security experts of Troubleshooters Incorporated are going head-to-head as fierce but friendly rivals in a raid-and-rescue training exercise. Despite the frigid winter temperatures, tension smolders between veteran SEAL Petty Officer Mark "Jenk" Jenkins and former cop turned troubleshooter Lindsey Fontaine after an impulsive night goes awry. And then suddenly Tracy Shapiro, the Troubleshooters' new receptionist, vanishes while playing the role of hostage during a mock rescue operation.

Teaming up with the FBI to launch a manhunt in the treacherous wilderness, Jenk and Lindsey must put aside their feelings as a record snowstorm approaches, dramatically reducing any hope of finding Tracy alive. The trail is colder than the biting New England climate until a lucky break leads to a horrifying discovery - a brutally murdered young woman wearing the jacket Tracy wore when she disappeared. Suddenly there is a chilling certainty that Tracy has fallen prey to a serial killer - one who knows the backwoods terrain and who doesn't play by the rules of engagement.

In a race against time, a raging blizzard, and a cunning opponent, Jenk and Lindsey are put to the ultimate test. Risking everything, they must finally come together in a desperate attempt to save Tracy - and each other.

Into the Storm

Grizzly murder with horrific weather makes for a nail biting story line makes this novel a hair raiser.

Arguing ...

Would have been five stars but way too much arguing and the "f" word. Some is okay but it distracted from the storyline.

enjoyed

so enjoyed this - Suzanne writes a nicely balanced thriller with humour, excitement, romance and a good storyline - characters are engaging and both narrators were excellent.

excellent

I love the Trouble Shooters series. The story lines in them are funny, romantic and intense at time. honestly I have not read or listened to a book by Suzanne Brockmann that I have not loved. Patrick and Melanie are great to listen to as readers. I will not listen to a book if the reader is boring. I love the way that Patrick and Melanie make you feel like you are a part of what is going on.

Go Audible! The missing audiobook is here!

This was the only book in the Troubleshooters series that wasn't in audiobook form. It's a very good story with very likeable characters, well-written. Well worth the time & money. Lawlor does

Into The Storm

Mark and Lindsey are dynamic characters that get real dimension from the narrators. The spooky factor of the story is great and both narrators do an excellent job of giving life to the story.

Fantastic

Loved it! The serial killer mixed in made it even more tense than some of the other SB Troubleshooters novels. Fantastic. I’ve seen some reviews say it was gratuitous violence and too
Much F word. But get real people. Their Navy Seals. This is pretty true to life in my familial experience and EXCELLENTLY done for Romantic Suspense which can sometimes be all about the “action” and not about the literal Action. I’m new to Suzanne Brockman and the Troubleshooters novels but I them! Keep it up!

One of my favorites

I read through the whole series, then found them on audio and listen through again and again. This is one of my favs of the series ~ Mark & Lindsay. Brockmann is at her best with a nice mix of romance, laughter, action, suspense, and mystery. She gives us updates on previous MCs as well as introducing new characters. Izzy, Izzy, Izzy. While not new ~ we really get to spend time with him here and I imagine it was hard for Brockmann to keep him from stealing the show.

I cannot stress enough what an amazing narrating duo Patrick Lawlor & Melanie Ewbank are. The fact that they keep the same voices for each character throughout almost all the books is a fantastic feat and really helps with continuity when doing a binge listen.

Troubleshooters

Wonderful book!!! I will now have to go back and read past books. The only thing I was confused with( and it took me awhile to settle into it) was the constant change of characters POV. I finally got onto the swing of it and thoroughly enjoyed the book.
