Publisher's summary

Explore the origin stories of Isabella Rodrigues and Benjamin Rogers long before they meet Charlotte Omandi or the TSS Bladerunner.

Isabella Rodrigues has been blessed with an abundance of charm and perseverance. She needed both to convince her fellow Georgia Institute of Technology students that storming Area 51 was a good idea.

Isabella and her four college classmates have crossed the country to take part in a secret, live action role play contest scheduled to take place on the same day millions of people from social media have promised to raid the secret governmental facility housed deep beneath Nellis Air Force Base.

Each of Isabella’s motley crew have different reasons for joining her campaign, ranging from romance to renumeration. However for Isabella, it will turn out to be a matter of life or death.

What secrets are housed deep within the Air Force's most clandestine facility? The only way to find out is to join...Isabella's Campaign.

Author's comment: Isabella's Campaign is a complete story, but not a full-length novel. It serves as a light-hearted mini-prequel to Paradigm 2045: Trinity's Children, but both titles are standalone. It was originally published as part of the Storming Area 51 anthology by Bayonet Books.

Loved it. Its worth it.

I can listen this audiobooks from this author over and over, they make me feel good. Hope for humanity and very light and fun with just a enough seriousness to give them substance.

Be careful

If you have read Robert W Ross before then you already know this is worth the $5 price tag, go ahead, enjoy.

If you have never read Robert W Ross then be careful. This book will likely lead to you spending 11 credits on his other Audible offerings. Go ahead and give his work a taste test with this little novella, but be prepared to add 11 other books to your wish list.

An Enjoyable Must Read for Paradigm 2045 fans

After having read several of the Paradigm 2045 books I was ready for more. Reading this novella was a delightful trou normand as we await future works. I appreciate the back story to characters which play a role in the Paradigm 2045 universe.

Origin Stories Are Just the Best!!

If you've read Paradigm 2045, you already know it is as much a study in characters as it is sci-fi. I think that's why you see so many reviews that liken it to Star Trek, BSG, or The Expanse. Well, two characters pop into the series in book 2 and we get just the slightest hint about their beginnings.

If you want to know how Benjamin met Isabella, this is an adorable novella that I consumed in one sitting. Great fun and full of the wit and banter for which Ross is rightly acclaimed.

Are all novellas this good?

Clocking in the length of an old-school Disney movie, if you have an impeding road trip or are new to audiobooks/ unsure if you can hack an entire book, this is the listening adventure for you.

How Ross is able to introduce new characters, make you really care about said characters, set up a plot, create tension, action, and finish with a touching and satisfying conclusion in so few words is beyond me. Add in the Midas Touch of Nick Podehl - et voilà! Perfection.

I’ve only read a scant handful of novellas; if more writers were able to condense as creatively and impressively as Ross does in ‘Isabella’s Campaign,’ I’d be addicted to anthologies.

Short story that is not as polished as the rest of the authors work.

I did have a bit of trouble with suspension of disbelief in this story, but it's really just a background piece.
