The story is good, sweet, emotional, but I love both of these narrators. Every book read by either of them is better because they read it, but together this went from a 3.9 - 4.2 rating to a 4.7-4.9 rating. It's really hard for me to give a 5.0 rating but I almost did.
I need to relisten to the first one. The way Scott was written was perfect! Outwardly confident, inwardly scared beyond belief, but showing such bravery!

Although the performance wasn’t bad, it was kind of boring. John Solo really slows down a story. Anyway, I liked Davis and Scott. Scott’s redemption story was good…I did like his character development. Davis was a likable character. No complaints about this one but it did feel long.

Story isn't bad, I always like a good redemption story. However, the author needs a thesaurus because she uses the word "admittedly" about a thousand times.
Not sure which narrator it is but the one who does Scott has the most annoying vocal quirks - seems like he could convey the characters without the odd cadence.

I loved the story and it has tons of potential. it's very one sided and unfortunately makes the changes in POV pointless. One characters POV only includes what's happening with the main character. there are many situations in the book that are mentioned after the fact, and it would have been better and added more if they were lived in while in the POV. The story is so focused on the one character you miss so much of the story and the other character who is just as interesting.

The narration was still weird, but the story so beautiful and the characters had background and depth and the book did not feel as rushed as the first one. This story has all the feels. Great job!
