Fun Fast Paced & Plenty of Action

What about Braden Wright’s performance did you like?

Braden Wright does a fantastic job with the Jet books especially considering that the main protagonist in these books is a female. He does a very believable performance.

Any additional comments?

I have enjoyed ALL of the Jet books. This one like the others is fast paced and full of action. My only gripe is that they are not long enough. Jet is like a cross between The Gray Man and Wonder Woman, this book we learn that she is certified to fly a helicopter and can perform some pretty amazing stunts with it even though it's been years and she was unsure of her skills. Ok, it requires a little suspension of common sense but it you're looking for some exciting and thrilling entertainment then you've come to the right place. I highly recommend this book.

good enough to read another

an entertaining perils-of-pauline book, a good page-turner with an absurd premise handled seriously and skilfully by the reader who elevates the story above its inherent silliness. The thing that demotes it to 3 stars is the repetition of the same clumsy escape scenario, where the bad guys conveniently quit looking even though they've been burned by the same trick already . . .

Solid as always

It’s an addictive series! Plot bulls on prior threads, which are woven together into an exquisite web of suspense and kick-a$$ action. Highly recommend!

Audible, we need audiobooks of novels 8, 9 & 10!

Also, novel 11 (XI) will be out on Kindle in December.

Regrettably I have now completed all audiobooks in this series, and I want more. For continuous action, sustained suspense, and fun listening the JET series is difficult to match. Both the author and the narrator do a great job. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Rinse and repeat

Russell really needs to come up with a better storyline. After listening to Jet 6 and 7 in succession, well lets just say, they might as well have been one book stretched out. How many pathological assassins can you send after these people. This will be my last listen in this series. I don't want to waste any more credits to hear the same story told in some slightly modified way. Braden Wright's narration is ok but his female characters all sound the same, and when you listen to 2 books in a row you sometimes forget who the character is.

Action Packed

At the end of the last book, Jet, Matt and Hannah have fled into Chile just ahead of a Russian assassin who is trying to kill Jet. Apparently, they arrive in Chile in the middle of a gang war. Jet makes an alliance with one of the Chilean gangs for mutual help. She will help them against the other gang, and they will help her against the international assassins. There is one assassin from Russia after Jet. A pair of assassins working as independent contracts for the CIA are after Matt and the diamonds. In this book, we have Jet trapped in a mine looking for an alternative way out then riding horseback in the Andes Mountains. The question comes up in each book, will Jet and family ever find a safe place to live normally?

The book is well written and is very fast paced. The action in non-stop. I could hardly put the book down. But, my only complaint is that after seven books, I am getting tired of the constant running from people trying to kill her. The book is about 9 hours long.

Braden Wright does an excellent job narrating the book. Wright has narrated the entire series so far.
