About this listen

On the surface, there's nothing about him she should like.

He's hard, cold, and stubborn as a bull. He has no right to want to be with her. She's everything he's not. Warm, patient, and attentive.

Yet, the two of them find themselves badly wanting each other. Neither of them has ever had the guts to tell each other how they truly feel. Will they get it together, or will she find comfort in the arms of someone else who's brave enough to steal her heart?

Jasiel, The King Who Got Me is book one in the Evans Brothers arc within the Evans Family series.

I overall story was good for a series. The female narrator’s energy was mundane. It was as if she was just reading and she didn’t embrace the character. It was enough to make me quit listening to the book but I’m hesitant to listen to part 3 if she’s narrating.

Low energy

Narrators were great. Just enough emotion to help capture the characters. After reading the summary, I was concerned that most of the story would be about a drawn out cat & mouse tale. NOPE! The right amount of time spent on two people realizing they have been wasting precious time. Truly enjoyed peeking into the lives of the Evans & the Washingtons.

Not another tale of cat & mouse

Once I got past the swallowing of whatever I was able to get into the book I absolutely loved their story, and I was hoping Gabby found love which she did. On to book 3 wish it was different readers (Jacobi & Nicole) hint hint lol but at least I’m prepared for all the dang on swallowing!!!

Loved, Loved Loved It 🤗🤗

It can be hard to come across a series that pulls you in and I regret nothing. This has been something wonderful to add to my days.

I love the entire series

It was too short!!! Would love more of their story!! I pray the next book has more of them.

Their love story!

I was glad that their story was drawn out with describing the walls and carpet but I wanted it to have a little more depth. Especially considering what we (those who listened to book one), already know about the characters. My love for love is why I rated so high. The narrators did a great job as well.

I really needed more

Loved every minute!

I struggled with the story. I didn't understand why 3 years passed and neither one of them told each other how they felt. I also felt the story was dragged out with extra wording. I also didn't understand the anger that came from Jasiel instead of acting like a man. I just felt this could have been better.

It was Okay
