About this listen

If he knew what was going to happen after he left home, he would have tried to stay.

After the events of the great kaiju war, Matteo is sent away from the turtle. His mission is to report to the capitol about the battle and collect Wardens for their depleted village. If only things could have stayed that simple.

Matteo runs into monsters, metal people, wild kaiju, and cities bigger than he could ever dream. He is going to have to get better with his artifact if he wants to survive.

Reaching the city of Carcassonne won’t be easy, but after he gets there, things will only get more complicated. He might be getting better at using his rune scribe pen, but he is going to have to do something different if he wants to keep his friends safe among political intrigue and the threat of a looming war.

Just as good as the first book.
Such a great world and characters.
Gotta love the huge beasts.
I hope there's a book 3.
I'm giving this book 6.5 out of 5 stars.

Good stuff.

Great overall story but it needs a re-edit, there are multiple places where sentences are repeated or a sentence is clearly spliced into the narration, which you can easily tell. It’s like he used a different mic with a different volume/quality randomly and takes you out of the story.

Also, the narrator doesn’t know how to say multiple words properly, like hexagonal or chitin.

Will still buy the 3rd book.
