About this listen

You have been summoned here for one reason. Trevor, you need a break.

Trevor Anderson is just another normal, overworked retail worker. All he wants is his promised promotion, a chance to use some of his vacation days without feeling guilty about it, and time for his hobbies.

While waiting patiently for his life to improve, a workplace accident changes everything for Trevor, including the world he resides in. After he bungles his way through a summoner’s questionnaire and gains the Power of an extradimensional inventory, he lands in the peaceful town of Tosa.

In a world where he can finally relax, he finds himself both unable and unwilling to sit still long enough to do it. With everything he needs to take destiny into his own hands—a clean slate, a supernatural ability, and good friends—Trevor will use his Power to live life the way he chooses to.

Romance Quest

The narrators are not narrators in this book, but voice actors. they bring the characters to life and you can easily tell different characters from each other. I cannot fully explain how wonderful it was listening to them change their pitch and cadence. You should get this book just for them alone.

As for the writing, Courier quest is a misnomer. It is really a Young Adult romance novel about a pacifist beta who and q workaholic adult woman. There are moments we're you think the inventory system might turn out be interesting, but this is a slice of life book.

He who fights with monsters series, also has a unique inventory system, uses it more often has a more complex and rewarding romance. But that series is not a pacifist.

Sorry Sorry Sorry Sorry Sorry

About one out of every 5 words coming out of the MC mouth is ‘sorry’. Legitimately makes me want to pull my hair out.

fantastic book

the story is just a real feel good story, where the main character learns more about himself, and finds happiness. i very highly recommend this story for anyone looking for something cozy.

Sweet, Low Stakes Story

This book has a lot to recommend it as long as you are looking for a low stakes story with no fighting. The author has a low-key humorous style that suits the story well. The characters that he has created are wonderful and varied. Rashy is a gem, and the female narrator is god-tier. I will admit that sometimes I found the MC a bit eye-roll worthy, particularly when he is complimenting people, and the male narrator has a sing-song narration style that I wasn't a fan of, but overall he does a great job as well, particularly with the character voices. Other positives include the very funny and likeable Quest Master (system), very little stat spam, and Mr. Tiggles - M E O W.

Pure Slice of Life Iseka

If you like Slice of Life, this is for you. No adventuring and no monster killing. Just a nice guy adjusting to a fantasy world with very likable characters.

great book.

it is a good book, and the narrator was great. the MC comes off WAY to passive and sensitive. if you can get pass the MCs non stop passive outlook on every single aspect of his new world and his constant soft tone and worrying about every single person other than himself then you will find a good wholesome story.
