I lost track of time listening to Shane East and Kit Swann bring Hugh and Daisy’s complicated love story to life. I’m a sucker for an accent and I was swooning over single dad, Hugh, from beginning to end. I love a strong female lead and Daisy was feisty and independent and I enjoyed watching her pushback and stand up for herself. This story made me smile, blush, and even shed a few tears. Little Lucy had my heart and stole the show. I’m obsessed with this Montgomery Legacy and can’t wait to see who is up next.

What can be said about this story? I could not imagine going through what Daisy did and still be this Kick a$$ Montgomery. She stands her
Ground and doesn’t let these Alpha males make her feel less than. To meet a one night stand and finally feel something says so much. And then (dun dun dun) enter Hugh. Well we know how this goes and what 🔥and chemistry they have. And Hugh has this adorable daughter and it all comes full circle for Daisy. So we know this is the Montgomery’s so there gotta be some suspense,
Not gonna lie my thoughts went to someone else so bravo Carrie Ann. I love this family so much and when the parents show up it’s even better. I enjoy books that actually bring out the all the feelings. Shane East and Kit Swann knock this one out of the park 💗💞💗

After selling his consulting business and getting sole custody of his daughter, Hugh moved to Colorado for a fresh start. While attending a friend's wedding, Hugh is instantly drawn to Daisy sitting across the aisle from him. During the reception, Hugh caught the garter while Daisy caught the bouquet leading them to spend a hot, steamy night together.

With the memories of that night fresh on her mind, she doesn't expect to see Hugh standing in her office as her new security consultant. She is now his boss so they decide to keep their one night together a secret only to have Hugh's daughter inadvertently out them. Not only is Hugh navigating single fatherhood and Daisy being threatened, they also are trying to figure out their attraction and chemistry to one another. Will the threats on Daisy keep them from a HEA.

Shane East's British accent is swoon worthy! Another great one by Carrie Ann Ryan.

It was supposed to be a one night stand to blow off steam after attending the wedding of mutual friends. But, unfortunately for Daisy, Hugh is her company's new hire. How are they going to pull off acting like they've never met, when they know each other intimately? So is this a one night stand or a workplace romance? The answer is yes.

So many things are going on in this story. Not just with Daisy and Hugh, but with the business, both expanding and a business threat. Some funny moments that you never want to find yourself in. And let's not forget the loving cousins who act as your older brothers and interrogate, and threaten, the new boyfriend. And through it all Hugh and Daisy persevere. These are two strong people who know what they want and will fight for it.

I found it most interesting that history repeats itself in this story. Years ago, single dad Mace Knight started dating and ultimately married Adrienne Montgomery. Now, single dad Hugh Hendrix is dating Daisy Montgomery Knight.

I loved Shane East as Hugh. That British accent is so delightful to listen to. Kit Swann as Daisy brings out her strength and determination, yet also her softer side with her family and Hugh's daughter.

Omg I absolutely loved it. I loved reading this one. Daisy and Hugh's story was so fun to read. Carrie Ann Ryan had me laughing out loud. I so loved how the story unfolded and the dynamics of the story. Absolutely great. The narrators did an amazing job with this and making it come to life through audio.

n a chance meeting at a wedding later turns out to be an office romance with a single father we get Hugh and Daisy's story in this latest installment of the next generation of the Montgomery Ink series.

Daisy, a member of the Montgomery Security team meets Hugh at a wedding and has a one night stand. Imagine her surprise when she later discovers that he is the new hire at the security firm.

Hugh, single dad who is now trying to navigate resettling his life and being a full time dad. He never expected to be adopted into the Montgomery family or have this pull to Daisy who he has undeniable chemistry with.

With the return of the characters from the previous series, this fast paced book was a good read. Both characters had chemistry that was off the charts where their story moved along well and kept me interested in seeing what would happen between the pair next.

Overall, this was a good addition to this series that I would recommend to others.
