About this listen

Dark forces pull Dan into a world he never imagined was real.

Left stranded and alone, he quickly realizes that this unexpected journey comes with a twist. The power of the leylines flows through his body, giving him power unlike any in the world can wield.

As he sets out to find the answers of how he came to be in this world, he comes to the aid of a beautiful stranger who becomes his guide—and perhaps more—in this strange place.

Will he find answers, or will the evil befouling the land find him first?

7ish out of 10

It's an OK first book and i did enjoy it but its very plain but dont take what comes after this as me hating on the book it was enjoyable. The magic system is kinda bland and not really explain at all. The plot progression is kinda so so with him just going along with everything and not really getting anything out of it or being given a reason to go along with what some random person asks him to do. The spice is pretty good I give it a solid 8 out of 10. The narrators did a good job keeping me interested. I liked the book it just didn't have anything that sets it apart that I can point out is done extra well from all the others books similar to it. Give it a read enjoy it and make your own opinions for yourself.

Portal LitRPG with a bit of spice.

I really liked this story. Doesn't hurt that the MC has the same name as one of my kiddos.
This book wasn't HaremLit but I'm thinking book 2 may be.
Our hero gets pulled into a portal and lands in a forest near an elf village in the boonies. Meets a hottie he falls for and discovers he's got magic.
Great stuff!
Can't wait for book 2.
I'm giving this book 8.5 out of 5 stars.

I like the story and the narration was excellent. Extra shot out to the voice of Rys the blacksmith that was wonderful , thanks

Five Stars

Rogan writes a fun, enjoyable story. Moon does an excellent jobe bringing the characters to life. Only covering a day in time, it is a full, rich story. my only criticwsm will be bring a man to be the mc, yet, keep Moon the main narrator.

Simple but good

A refreshing change of pace from the normal 2 chapters of moral dilemas before the mc acts, without being a complete power trip. The relationship aspects are believable, the spicy scenes are spicy and last but not least the way the magic works is interesting. The only downside I can really even pick at is that the length is a bit deceptive the last hour and a half of the book is preview to another work of the authors.
