Publisher's summary

For Hanna Harvey, happily ever is just the beginning . . . of a hot mess. Now mated to darkly dangerous but irresistibly seductive werewolf, Mark Abernathy, she's finding that life isn't the endless cheese and whisky fueled boinkfest she'd imagined it to be. Plagued by terrifying nightmares of a mysterious entity bent on her destruction and drowning in her new responsibilities as the alpha female of the werewolf world, she's begun to doubt that she really is the heir.

When certain werewolf factions refuse to acknowledge Hanna's rule, what begins as a clan rivalry threatens to erupt into the first shifter war in centuries. Which is like, the worst. As is the return of Hanna's former flame and neophyte vampire, Detective James Morrison.

Hoping to stave off the shifter Apocalypse, Hanna and Abernathy travel to The Gathering, where a mysterious figure from Abernathy's past reveals a closely guarded secret with the power to break not only her heart, but their sworn bond as mates. With the fate of the werewolf world resting squarely on her bony shoulders, Hanna must now decide to trust the wildness within, or abandon the shifter world forever.

Contains mature themes.

Enraptured

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series throughout all four books. At times, it is comical, frustrating, and endearing. Narrated expertly with such a mastery of accents and dialects, what's not to enjoy.
Oh, the story? You're just going to have to listen yourself!

Love Binds

The babysitting scenes were so funny. Can’t wait for the next book. I hope defective Morrison has a happy ending someday.

I love this entire series ❤️

I listened to, laughed, cried and laughed some more to all four books in just a little over a twenty four hour period. Five out of five stars. Would definitely recommend.

I love this series!!!

I am not a supernatural/shape shifter fan, but these stories come alive a draw you in. Coupled with Stella’s performance 🎭 my heart is always sad when it ends. 🤍

I have enjoyed every book in this series. The only thing bad about it is waiting for the next book.

Entertaining series, but meh ending

(Kind of an overall series review)

While the series is a fun listen, the ending we get here left me feeling unsatisfied. The denouement is lackluster, the epilogue just kind of mentioning Hannah's work rather than showing us anything. I'd love if there were going to be another book, showing us how Hannah's dealing with her complex new role, and maybe with a why-choose relationship dynamic instead of the love triangle we currently get. I feel like Morrison really got the shaft. It also felt like the author tended to just cut off sections throughout the series once the characters were fine with the immediate purpose there (ex. after the action at Castle Abernathy, and after the vampire fight, they just kind of end up back home).

After listening to all four books, the narration is good, but as sometimes tend to happen with female narrators performing more "smoky-toned" male characters, Abernathy's "voice" is sometimes hard to hear, often getting muddled by road noise (as I usually listen during my commute), even when I have the volume maxed out.

But still, fun story. Just wish there were more of it.
