About this listen

A sexy, small-town, grumpy-sunshine romance by bestselling author Stacy Travis

Ever heard the one about the rom-com princess who gets swept off her feet by her fake fiancé?

Yeah, that’s not my story.

I’m an actress whose reputation is currently circling the drain, thanks to a string of public relationship disasters. All I want is to adopt a baby and leave my tabloid trainwreck days behind me.

When the adoption agency doubts my ability to provide a stable home life, I agree to a fake engagement with a guy who screamed “PR-approved.”

Easy enough—until Archer Corbett blows it all to pieces.

He’s a broody, hockey-playing winemaker who makes grumbling an art form. He also hates my fake fiancé—pretty sure “douchebag” was in there somewhere—and doesn’t care who knows it. But when Archer rescues me on the side of the road and keeps me safe, I discover there’s more under his scowl than grunts and muscles.

A lot more.

Turns out, Archer has a guarded heart, a fierce loyalty to his family, and a self-sacrificing streak a mile wide. He’s also infuriatingly hot—and impossible to resist. One stolen kiss turns into carwash-steamy nights and a bond I didn’t see coming. But there’s a problem: he doesn’t want kids, and I can’t imagine a life without them.

Our lives don’t fit together. Our dreams are miles apart. But what if Archer’s exactly what I need to rewrite my story? And what if I’m the one to thaw his frozen heart?

If only this were a movie, I might get the happily ever after I’ve always wanted.

Love You Always is a standalone romance with a HEA, and it's the anticipated final book in the Buttercup Hill series.

Loved it!

I love this story. Especially regarding the adoption. I think the author did an amazing job writing this story. I did read this story as a standalone. Which wasn’t bad but i do highly suggest to read it in order to get a better experience with all the characters. Regardless, I do recommend this story. It’s enjoyable. Lee Samuels and Ava Erickson did an amazing job narrating this story.

Narrators were amazing!!! This is a quick read but such a cute heartwarming story. There’s more to love from this story and you should head back to the first book and see how it all started in the series!

A sweet simple romance ♥️

This is a cute easy romance. It was the perfect easy listen while I did my weekend clean around my house. I put this on and was able to finish it in a few hours.

This was a cute story of a Hollywood starlet who is trying to move past the tabloid gossip in order to become a mother. Desperate to adopt she needs to clean up her image after bad press thanks to a string of public relationship disasters. So in order to look good to the adoption agency, her PR company drafts up the idea to marry a PR approved guy in a marriage of convenience. It will clear up both their bad reputations while also serving her desire to show a stable home for a baby.

Unfortunately, Ella didn’t plan for a grumpy, broody, hockey playing wine maker who makes grumbling an art form. Archer doesn’t like Ella, but he doesn’t like her fake fiancée even more.

I loved Ella. I don’t know that people appreciate how difficult it is to be a celebrity and live your life under a microscope and constant judgement for every decision you make. On the outside she comes off as a spoiled celebrity but inside she’s kind, bright, and a bit of a nerd. I honestly loved it.

Archer was grump. Miserable after feeling forced to take on his family winery and unable to follow his own dreams. After a bad experience in LA he returned home to take over a job he never wanted.

The audio narration of this book was really good. I felt like the narrators' voices worked well for both characters. I highly recommend this audiobook if you are looking for a simple sweet romance ♥️

Dual Narration - Ava Erickson & Lee Samuels

Despite this audio being in dual I very much enjoyed the story. The narration was done very well. Ava Erickson is a favorite of mine and I enjoyed Lee Samuel’s voice as well.

Archer is running the family winery, making the wine since their father is too sick to do so anymore. His siblings all have rolls to play in running the business. His sister is trying to get it to be a top wedding venue by having a celebrity wedding at the winery. Archer is not interested in having anything to do with this side of the business. That is until Ella shows up.

Ella is hollywoods romantic comedy sweetheart and she is getting married. Her reputation is that she is the girl who jumps from guy to guy not a settling down type. She wants a family and to settle down. She will even go so far as to marry the wrong guy, but when she meets and spends time with Archer her thoughts about the future begin to shift slightly.

A Sweet Conclusion to the Series

⭐⭐⭐⭐
🌶️🌶️.5

Love You Always is the last book in the Buttercup Hills series. I loved the family and setting of this series since it is located at a winery. This was another sweet edition with one of my favorite tropes, grumpy/sunshine.

Archer has a lot of weight on his shoulders since he is in charge of the vineyard, and his dad left things in a bit of a mess. He is grumpy and closed off because he never wanted to run the vineyard. Ella is a famous actress and comes to Buttercup Hills to plan her wedding. She has an arranged marriage situation with a country singer to help their public image and, more importantly, to improve her chances of adopting a baby.

Archer is irritated he has to give her a tour of the winery, but they immediately feel the sparks and attraction. He learns there is so much more to Ella the more time they spend together, and he starts to fall for her. This is a little instalove, but I still really enjoyed it.

🎧 Audiobook Review 🎧
This audiobook is narrated by Lee Samuels and Ava Erickson. They are two of my favorite narrators and delivered an amazing performance. Lee Samuels did a great job showing Archer's grumpy and gruff side. Ava Erickson always does a great job, and they were the perfect duo for this book.

Reviewing as an ALC 🎧✨

I really enjoyed the narrative of this book by Lee Samuels & Ava Erickson! 10/10 👩🏽‍🍳😘

Archer and Ella had amazing chemistry that really had me wanting more. The author did an amazing job developing their friendship turned relationship. Something I relate to is Ella’s “hidden nerdiness”. 🤓
I’m totally looking for my Archer to match my same nerdy level vibe! 🤪

buttttt I digress…. I recommend this audiobook a 100 times over!!

Also disclaimer I have not read the books in the Buttercup Hill series… but I will be rectifying that sooooon!

Figuring out what really matters

This is the second Stacy Travis story I’ve listened to and it did not disappoint. We have “Grumpy Grape” Archer with a chip on his shoulder the size of LA and “Rom-com Princess” Ella who’s playing a part so she can achieve her greatest role as a mom. Things are entertaining as these two meet at Archer’s family vineyard. What neither counted on was the undeniable connection. But will it be enough? Can they get past what they thought was their only way forward? This story made my commute, cleaning and cooking so much more enjoyable.

Beautiful story with amazing narration

I love everything Stacy writes…when I pick up one of her books I know I will be take on an adventure filled with love, laughs, fantastic characters and a beautiful setting.

This series is one of my favorites from her. The way she describes the scenery in each book is breath taking…I want to go visit Buttercup Hill!

There are so many fun tropes in this story - grumpy/sunshine, fake fiance, and celebrity romance.

Archer and Ella are AMAZING! Their banter, chemistry, slow burn and undeniable attraction for one another is written so beautifully. I love how they are there for one another and begin to trust, share feeling and fears and work together to become stronger. They have a few ups and downs along the way but love always wins.

The band of brothers and their dialogue is so good. They are fiercely protective, love giving each other a hard time and love one another so deeply.

Ava Erickson and Lee Samuals did an amazing job with the narration. I love their voices! They give the characters perfect voice, personality and emotion. They voice are strong, vulnerable when needed and the smexy times are delivered perfectly!!! An amazing listen!

Grumpy/Sunshine

This was a cute book. A lot of unorthodox aspects in this story but it made the whole story come together! Ella, America’s romcom princess really wants to be a mom so she is marrying Calum, America’s playboy. The marriage of convenience is supposed to help their image and help Ella get approved for adoption. In steps Archer who shows Ella what it’s like to be loved, only problem he doesn’t want to be a dad. This was a slooow burn, grumpy/sunshine story that will make you feel a lot of different feelings! I really like the first half of the book, it was easy to read and the banter between Ella and Archer was comical. The second half of the book I felt was a little rushed and had some confusing parts to it. It was overall a good story and I really like Ella and Archer’s love story!

Highly Recommend

Can I cry because the Buttercup Hill series is over?
Archer has been the grumpy, fearless leader of the family's winery. Closed off and guarded, he is reluctant to give the hollywood princess a tour of the winery for her upcoming wedding. Forced by his sister, he takes Ella on a tour and indulges her in the "boring science" of the winery. Surprised by how interested she is and how different she is he begins to question everything.
Ella is desperate to improve her reputation and become a mother through adoption which has led to her upcoming marriage of connivence. What happens though when she might just be falling for the vineyard owner?

I listened to Love You Always narrated by Ava Erickson and Lee Samuels. They did a phenomenal job of bringing the story to life with emotions and chemistry. Highly recommend!!
