Critic reviews

“An audacious dystopian story...destined to be one of the year’s most talked-about novels.” (Electric Lit)
“I dub this the great Terf-pocalypse novel.... I cannot underscore enough how much I love this novel.” (CrimeReads)
“Reading this book was like tonguing a live wire; I loved every moment and I still haven’t recovered. As erotic as it is devastating, as brilliant as it is visceral, Manhunt is a modern horror masterpiece.” (Carmen Maria Machado, best-selling author of In the Dream House and National Book Award finalist for Her Body and Other Parties)
Featured Article: The top 100 horror books of all time
This list encompasses the full spectrum of what horror can be—campfire-worthy tales, stomach-churning gore, and incisive social commentary. The classics are accounted for, but it also spotlights more recent titles, because that’s the nature of the genre—it is as perennial as it is ever-evolving, conjuring whatever frights most haunt our collective consciousness. Each title does have one thing in common: It makes for devilishly good listening. So cut the lights and press play—if you dare.

It’s unlike any horror/post apocalypse fiction I’ve ever heard. I was entirely riveted.
Hopefully the author will continue writing.
This is the type of inroad into culture, that may loosen the foundation of the fortress, hateful ppl are blind to.

I will say, at some points it was a bit difficult to tell which character was narrating when it switched between them.
