Critic reviews

"Though her plot twists are somewhat predictable, the veteran romance author doesn't disappoint in her sizzling love scenes and fine sense of place." ( Publishers Weekly)

Needs different narrator

I liked this book, except the narrator. The characters are supposed to be young but she sounded old. It took away for the story. She did not pronounce words correctly and that really bugged me. I almost stopped listening due to the fact I felt like I was listening to 40+ year-old and the way the narrator spoke. I won't be listening to any more McKettrick books if she is the narrator.

McKettricks Luck

Really good book however I didn't like the explict sexual scene at about hour 4 1/2. Not good if kids are in the car! Story didn't need it and would have been better left to the imagination.

Oh those sexy Mckettrick men !

I like the McKettrick series better then the Stone Creek series. I laughed and cried so it was a thumbs up book for me.
Since this is an adult romance (this author has always written adult books not young adult or childrens) it was a great romance. I never let my children watch a movie that was not made specifically for children until I previewed it first so I would never pop in a romance novel made for adults with them listening.
Cant wait to listen to the next book in the series. Thanks Linda Miller for a contemporary romance that is set in the west. I love the historical west books but this is a nice alternative. I loved the first 4 books in the series that were with the original Mckettrick men when the west was just opening up.

Very entertaining book!

This is a good story, and it holds your interest. Some parts adults only. I'd call it a modern western theme.

good story, but no need for the sex scene, linda lael Miller does a good job so why does she need the sex....leave it to the reader's imagenation

Narration

I enjoy these books but someone needs to teach the narrator how to pronounce words...
The car she gets is an SUV and it’s a Cadillac Escalade.... omg and Stop changing old characters names...

Fun Read

If you could sum up McKettrick's Luck in three words, what would they be?

Fun Welcome Home

Have you listened to any of Christina Moore’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I love listening to Christina she is one of my favorite.

If you could rename McKettrick's Luck, what would you call it?

Free Spirit.

Any additional comments?

Another great book by Linda she is so good at showing us what we are reading and not just telling. Always makes me feel like I am part of the story. Can't help but gobble up her books.

loved it awesome book

love the story the narrator did really well happy that they refer back to the original mckettricks sort of sad knowing that the other mckettricks are gone but at least it mentions the other generations so it's nice seeing how the next generation in the generation after that does.
