What is life?
Why are we here?
What’s the point of it all?

What if the answers to these questions—all the BIG, important questions about the human experience—stemmed from one seemingly simple concept?

The power of shifting from fear to love.

It sounds simple, right? Frustratingly simple, and certainly too simple to make any real difference in real life.

But Vanessa Wideski has wandered the world to find answers to these questions, searching across Thailand, the island of Samoa, Buddhist monasteries, and even the bustling streets of New York City. Through homelessness, addiction, and unspeakable loss, she’s found that the answers our souls seek are out there—and the power to change ourselves, our communities, and our world is well-within our reach.

Inspired by the groundbreaking work of physicist Tom Campbell, Vanessa breaks down her own theory of everything (TOE). Through her personal quest of triumph, tragedy, and healing, she provides a practical guide to awakening to your soul’s true purpose.

Although i think a lot of her examples are not very good, it was useful to understand how to trace the emotions back to the core fear. The book is too short and too shallow in my opinion. I miss more details on the HOW. I felt the book promised more in the earlier chapters then it actually delivered. In a few cases, i do not agree on her interpretation on the MBT model. I like that the book is narrated by the author herself. A pleasant listen. It will be interesting to read any future books by the author, when she is further down the growth path.
