The twists and turns are better and the author did a better job at explaining her new life, with her friends enhancing the story. After all no man is an island and the friends are so important to be real in a book at anytime. Better job!

Can’t get enough of this series

This is the second book in the series with Erin, An ex assassin, who after leaving an organization that she discovered was doing bad things with her skills rather than good, finds a refuge in a small town where many paranormal dwell. The cast of characters includes vampires werewolves fae and witches. The nice thing about the series is that each book concludes a storyline even though it continues with the same characters. I found it a fun read and a quick read. Looking forward to moving onto the third book.

Enjoyed the story and character development. Good flow of story and action woven together into a great series and enjoyable read. Definitely would recommend if you like whity banter and some interesting characters.
