Publisher's summary

Brody

A night on the town after a long workweek at my family's distillery should include shots and dancing - not a hot kiss with a handsome stranger. I'm straight. At least, that's what I figured until I find myself locking lips with a sexy city boy. Now, all my circuits are going haywire, and the spark that ignites between us makes me even more curious.

Unfortunately, I kissed the one man who's off-limits: Cohen Mitchell - the sole surviving heir to the Mitchell Creek distillery, a rival neighbor my family has feuded with for nearly a 100 years. Until he arrived in town, no one knew there were any Mitchells left. But the business-savvy city slicker has taken an interest in his legacy.

Nothing means more to me than my family, so whether I like it or not, I have to keep my hands off the sexy, green-eyed beauty who Big Daddy has not-so-affectionately dubbed that "No Good Mitchell". Problem is: My hands have other plans.

Cohen

I never expected to inherit a distillery from a father I had never known. That's how I find myself in a tiny Georgia town, where everyone knows a family history I've been kept in the dark about. The townsfolk all have a different story about my ancestors, with two things in common: illegal activity and Mitchell vs O'Ralley forever.

Maybe, I shouldn't like Brody O'Ralley, but I didn't grow up with this stupid family feud. I enjoy touching him, kissing him and - oops - I'm falling for the man with sweet Southern charm and a big heart. Between the O'Ralley patriarch hating me, getting the Mitchell Creek distillery off the ground, and working through my own family issues, I know I should stay away from Brody.

But I won't, and staying away is not what he wants either. I crave all the time with my country boy as I can get, even if it's breaking the rules. After all, I am a No Good Mitchell.

10/10

I swear I read/listen to anything and everything by Devon McCormack. I’ve loved all of them so far! Each story feels like it’s perfectly paced and has just the right amount of angst. You really get invested in the story. Michael Dean also does a great job narrating. He’s done several of McCormacks books and he seems to really dive in to each character. If you haven’t listened to/read one of McCormacks books, No Good Mitchell is a good one to start with.

Really Good

This was very fun and sweet to listen to. Interesting premise, well thought out characters and plot. This duo has always been good and this is no exception.

Micheal Dean of course is excellent as usual.

*** HOT & TASTY STAND ALONE! ***

Kudos to the terrific duo for this sweet southern story! All the winning elements skillfully interwoven into an interesting world, populated by a delightful assortment. Steamy & sexy when needed, especially as our MC's were very relaxed as the relationship progressed. Refreshing to have such low angst, but with sufficient push back that made it interesting.

As always, the seductive rich vocal talents of Michael Dean brought this to vivid life! His ability to give each of the numerous characters their own personality is his greatest strength. I found this recent offering by scrolling through his works..., I have YET 2B disappointed!!!

Prepare to be impressed.

Brody and Cohen

I loved this book and the duo of Riley and Devon. I laughed, and giggled throughout the whole thing. Isaac was hilarious as well with his little quirks. Michael Dean did an amazing job (as always) with this book. It was sweet and hot and I will listen to it again.

Overall I enjoyed this book.

At first I thought "Oh jeez - Romeo and Juliet with cowboys", but the only other review for this new release was good so I thought why not. I really did enjoy it. I could definately see where it was going but the relationships were endearing and there were a few "Oh didn't see that coming" moments. The characters get their HEA. Now I'm wishing this were a series.

This needs yo be a series ASAP

Loved the story the narration was on point as always with Michael dean. These two authors have a way of drawing you into characters lives, and worlds. I want to visit this town and meet these characters but the best I can get is hopefully more books!!

A Flash Before My Eyes...

First off, the story is great! Devon did it, again! I instantly fell in love with Brody and his sweet southern charm. Cohen was a perfect match and they balanced each other well. Isaac and Walker were super cute, too! The only thing I did not care for was how fast the ending came. I feel like it was a bit rushed. The epilogue tied things together okay, but I needed MORE of the happy ending...possibly even a part two.

Great story.

I love how well the story was put together. One minute I was laughing and in another I would be crying, it all went so well. The fact that the two families were in the past connected and are again now.

DNF

I don’t know if it’s that I’ve been reading so much mm novels lately, but this one fell extremely flat for me. It was very... boring? I think is the word I’m looking for. The whole rivalry thing wasn’t enough to make me root for these characters in either direction. The background info on the main characters was lacking and wasn’t enough of any connection to make me root for them either. It was just... I don’t know, bleh? I stopped listening after about 45% in, so maybe it gets better? I truly like both of these authors and was looking forward to being wowed again, but I was sorely disappointed.
