For as long as she can remember, Tessa has dreamed of a better world—but she might be the one who damned it.

Night has fully fallen on Aesir. A comet streaks through the sky, heralding the return of the monstrous winged gods.

Separated from everyone she knows and loves, Tessa must find a way to brave the coming storm. Within her, a dangerous power grows. It might be the one thing that can save them all—if only she can find the strength to control it. And as long as Kalen is not forced to kill her first.

Of Night and Chaos is the third book in The Mist King series, a captivating and sizzling enemies-to-lovers dark fantasy romance.

I love the ongoing story and the depth of love e between the two. Looking forward to the next book.

Great Saga

When I first started reading this book. It took me a little bit to remember what was going on from the previous book in the series. I really like Tess in this book, but sometimes she does sound a little bit whiny. I do like the way that her and her lover got around the vow that he made to his mother. The gods are waking and Tessa, her lover, and the rest of her friends are finding out more about how they can defeat the gods and also the obnoxious creatures that they Created. I do like the fact that every chapter will tell you who is speaking. I did feel that the female narrator was a little overdramatic in some places.

Good

makes everything sound far too dramatic. Her breathy over acting is really annoying.
The story over all is fairly good, but the author over explains everything like the reader is 5 and can’t remember anything. Like the amount of times that she explains that something was “because of Oberron’s protection” is really repetitive - that was a major plot point. No one has forgotten it.
