I was completely sure I wasn't going to like it. The series is really a bit of a hit or miss. But this one was just so charming and cute. I was overcome with emotions.

Gregory wasn't really in most of the series except for a handful of moments at the start and then in Eloise's book and Hyacinth. So, I had no idea what to expect. With most of the Bridgeton brothers they all somehow have this mystery temper that seems to come from no where (particularly, Benedict and Colin). But Gregory was just about the sweetest and and most delightful character in his own right with such a kind heart. He does get angry, but there's always a reason for it. Gregory is quite possibly the best Bridgeton brother.

Lucy is also amazing and has a personality I could certainly relate to. Her wit is just perfect. I adore her. I adore them.

Will say, I wish the author hadn't spent so much time on the wedding bit. Like yes, I know it's in the title, but it took way too long to wrap up that bit to get to Gregory and Lucy finally getting together. Would have love to have seen more of the after. As opposed to a mention of it. It's still a good story, just a ran a little to long when the outcome was always going to be Gregory and Lucy in the end.

Definitely recommend though!

I took my time with this story, not because it wasn’t a good story, just because it wasn’t a crazy page turner. I feel like a lot of it was predictable and I think that’s because of how it begins. I feel like the prologue ruined the whole suspense to the story; they try to make it a mystery but it’s so obvious. I honestly would recommend skipping the prologue if you’re the type who really seeks suspense in a book. The whole time you’re not guessing who George is in love with because you can already predict what’s going to happen. So, since you know the WHO and WHAT, you have to hang on to the HOW to get through the book and see how it all unravels. I will say it did unravel nicely, and the bit of scandal was better than I suspected. If you’re looking for spiciness JQ usually brings in her work, the level is probably a 2; that aspect is pretty lacking, but honestly I kind of liked it better that way, especially for this story. This story overall was very cute and good ending to the series. If you can access to the second epilogue, READ IT! It really closes up things well and it’s so realistic full of all the feels, which I appreciated.

I absolutely loved this wonderful creative love story. I think Gregory is one of my favorite characters in this series. He is completely lovable! This long book kept my interest throughout, occasionally a little wordy in descriptions but otherwise wonderful. Narration was excellent! Thank you !

This book had me on my feet the whole time. We knew Lucy and Gregory were going to be together, but it wasn't as straight forward as the other book. So many twist and turns. I absolutely loved it. The second epilogue was kinda sad and long. Definitely a new twist to the story line. Very unlike the others.

Much like the other books in this series, it centers around true love and an obstacle to overcome. There are a few obstacles in this book like guns, French spies and near death experiences. It's an exciting read, with a number of surprise twists...which make you think....how is this gonna end? Enjoyed it immensely, just as I have of all the books in the series.

I love all bridgerton books but this was one had me in a tizzy. With other bridgerton books I always knew there would be a happy ending but this one had me second guessing. I also loved learning more about Gregory!

Another good book from Julia Quinn - I love the Bridgerton family! With that being said, I found myself extremely frustrated with “Lucy”. The name itself was read/said about 7,000 times through out the book - way too many!
Also, I can appreciate a selfless, some-what helpless character, but sometimes, it transforms into careless stupidity. I wish Lucy wouldn’t have been quite so pitiful.
Overall, I enjoyed it!
