About this listen

#1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts brings us a classic story about the risks we will take when love is on the line....

They were like night and day. Ty Starbuck was a man known for his devastating good looks and volatile passions. Asher Wolfe was infamous for both her beauty and icy control. Together they had set the tennis world ablaze. Now, even after years apart, Asher realizes that she still loves Ty - deeply. But she knows if she reveals her secret, she could lose it all again... including Ty.

Good storyline. Miscommunication from all directions lead the main characters running after their own misconceptions about each other.

This may be my favorite title she's written. This was hard to put down. Good read

Must’ve been an early Nora Roberts book. Totally pointless sap. I’m going to return it.

Couldn’t wait for it to end

The narrator was great. I loved Ashley and Ty. Enjoyed every chapter especially the end.

Exciting and Intriguing

Nice story, randomly dramatic in some parts. Storyline ok. Narrator not my favorite when she tried to lower her voice to read the male parts. That was the main thing I couldn’t stand. This was also my very first audio book so I’m not sure if all female narrators do the same.

Overall Good

Storyteller was phenomenal!
But miscommunication was overdone along with to much sex and not enough story.

Good for a quick listen

I read this book many years ago and the memory of the story stayed with me. I was so ecstatic to listen to it. excellent narrating. I just wish reading Ty's character voice was more masculine. however overall I'll listen to this book again.

Would you try another book from Nora Roberts and/or Christina Traister?

I have read better and worse by both Nora Robers and CHristine Traister So would sample others from both

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Not unexpected but happy about a happy outcome

What didn’t you like about Christina Traister’s performance?

The leading man's voice. Terrible, she can do better than that.

Did Opposites Attract inspire you to do anything?

never give up however adverse the situation

Any additional comments?

Interesting about pressures of professional sport and on public figures.
