Publisher's summary

Would you sell your soul to save your daughter's life?

With my NHL career ripped to shreds by a devastating knee injury, I've hit rock bottom. Deadass broke. Divorced. Single father. But none of that matters to me. It's all about my precious little girl. My heart. My soul. She's sick, and she's hurting.

So when temptation makes its siren's call inside a hotel bar, I answer. How hard could it be? Escorting rich, powerful women around town? Besides, I'll do anything.

My daughter's uncertain future hangs in the balance. A simple mistake invites a ghost from the past back into my life. She's only a name and a beautiful but familiar face on a computer screen. Tempting me.

We both know this is a one-time thing. No repeats. Bought and paid for in a simple transaction. But I don't think I could ever be finished with her.

She tries to help me, but I push her away. Because saving my daughter's life is all up to me.

Contains mature themes.

I did except more hockey in this but I still really liked it. Reid and Harper used to be friends when he was an hockey star and she was the nerdy girl. That was until he was a jerk to her. Now years later they are thrown back together but their roles have been flipped. Harper is a successful CEO and Reid is an ex NHL player who is doing everything he can to pay for treatment for his daughter. This was a really good book and I can’t wait to continue this series.

I really could not get into this story at all. In fact, I almost quit listening to it a few times. It lacked substance.

Reed and Harper

A spicy, sweet and intensely captivating second chance romance. Reed and Harper were childhood friends but Reed did something that hurt Harper. Years later they meet in an awkward but saucy way which turns both their worlds upside down. I enjoyed going on this journey with them.

poor characters

both characters were so shallow. it really didn't feel like either of them developed in 15 years. Also, why'd she have to get plastic surgery. just a bunch of red flags. skip this one
