About this listen

Please Lie to Me has hours of roaring action and flaming lesbian romance.

Set in Sante Fe, NM this romantic thriller is about Niccola Amato, a classical violinist who crosses over into the popular music genre and is everyone’s darling. Add Reed Redman, a gorgeous computer genius who owns Redman Cyber Securities and Protection Agency, and you have the ingredients for an erupting volcano.

When Reed is tasked with providing security for Niccola while the violinist tours Europe, she isn’t prepared for the star’s jealous husband Fredo, the son of Sergio Donatelli, head of one of New York’s most feared and dangerous crime families.

How do you spend three months protecting a classical icon who flirts with you unmercifully but comes with a serious “Hands OFF or Die” warning?”

#1 best-selling lesbian author Erin Wade brings you a smoking wlw romantic thriller about second chances and forbidden love. I hope you enjoy it.

Liked the story very much!

I have to admit, I’m biased! I’ve lived in Santa Fe for the past 16 years and have loved my adoptive city very much. Having the City Different showcased so much in the story made me enjoy the story even more.

The plot was well developed and very believable. The mystery and suspense was intense. Nikki and Reed were star crossed lovers from a young age. Neither one was diswayed of their love for each other for the 18 years they were apart. Overall, the story was well done! The narration was also equally well done!

Awesome Second Chance Romance

A cybersecurity expert and protection specialist has followed the career of her high school love and attends every concert. A sizzling sapphic romance with a great narration.

Slow but OK

The story was OK, a little too slow for me, but I didn’t stop in the middle. Narration didn’t really help this book. The narrator used a very childish voice for Nikki and the rest of the voices didn’t match the personalities of the characters…

Bad Narration

I couldn’t get passed the violinist’s little girl voice and the tinge of Japanese accent the narrator uses. Seriously??? Ms. Wade, you need to get your money back!
I struggled to suspend disbelief and then lost it totally at the Lloyd’s policy on the violinist’s hands.
This is beyond bad on so many levels. I enjoyed the Java Jarvis books. They were pretty entertaining. This book is not!

Fake Electronics

When will authors and their teams figure out its not the best idea to try to fool people into thinking a story is something it's not. Once again we are led to believe this is at least somewhat of a story of discovery but isn't at all.
