The idea of this book likely came from someone who has watched too much MC is OP anime and thought they could easily write one. Not that there's anything wrong with it. There's not a lot of world building and reads like someone describing what's on screen as they watch said anime.

Sierra Kline does a great job for the female characters but doesn't have the range for multiple male characters. I'll grant she didn't have much to work with as she also had to read onomatopoeias out like they were pulled straight off a comic book page.

A major problem with spicy scenes in several harem novels are that they're often written by people who are either terrible at setting the scene or who don't exactly have a lot of experience with spiciness in real life. This definitely reads like the latter.

Overall a meh entry in the genre.

This was a fun read with some spice. Just enough story to keep the story immersive with the best parts being the fun and dialogue. I will definitely get part 2.

When he finally does find out what happens it is a twist outside of the scope of what even his Isekai summoner knew of.
