About this listen

A missing woman. A tech titan on the edge. The desperate hunt to find her. What happens when there is no light at the end of the tunnel?

Prepper, Book 2 dives back into the darkness five days after a domestic terror attack killed the grid and sent millions scrambling for survival.

Jack Warrant is prepared but fears he needs to leave the safety of his home to add to his supplies. Tech billionaire Noel Slate kidnaps a VIP with political ties. A team of army veterans head out into the chaos in search of Slate before he exacts his revenge.

All roads begin to converge as the prolonged power outage forges a paramilitary state for some and threatens tenuous refuge for others.

Prepper is perfect for fans of T.L. Payne, Kyla Stone, Nicholas Sansbury Smith, Ryan Schow, and Franklin Horton.

Good story!

Like the family . Feel for the characters. Not just endless violence. Which accompanies many of this apocalyptic books! Just the right amount of kick ass!

Realistic not a sensationalist

I liked the book - the author could have developed the characters a little deeper but were not finished with the series yet!

Everything about this series is good!

This is one of the best apocalyptic series I have ever read. And I’ve read a lot of them.

great tension

I really enjoyed these first two books, I can't wait to get into the next ones. I love the tension that builds up from the realistic scenarios

Beta Males and Alpha females

The story is good, but typically this author writes heroes I respect—heroes we know America needs. In this series all of the males—accept the one not married, are ruled over by their dominant, smarter, tougher, wives. The men may be military vets of grave heroism—but even that guy has a marine wife who is a mapping and sniper hard as-nails no-nonsense character. It is very hard to respect men dominated by their female partners. Turning things upside down in our world hasn’t helped—and more than any other aspect of this story, this one thing stands out. I regret it and am unsure if I can continue reading it. The main character presents powerfully, then asks his wife permission to do what must be done. Why? I wonder if this is truly the work of the stated author.

Ok, Where's Book 3?

Loving this storyline with strong women who are intuitive and supportive of their families needs. GMan is my favorite character so far. Only question: why didn't the governor's daughter tell him or at least those that rescued her about the "traitor"?
