About this listen

This five-book complete bundle is everything you’ll need to laugh for days!

"I’ve lived in Prosper Woods for six months now. Can anyone tell me when forest creatures are going to come in and clean my house?” Signed, “Snow White was all a lie.”

I never thought moving to the quiet little town of Prosper Woods, California, would be such an adventure. When I quit my detective job at the LAPD and moved north to the gorgeous sequoia forests, the last thing I expected was to learn something about myself that had apparently been passed down through generations, but here I am, and I wouldn’t change a thing. Then again, this is where my heart lives, and the moment he dropped fang had my hindquarters tingling.

When I moved to Prosper Woods, California, it was out of necessity. Every 20 years or so, I’d been forced out of my home because I never age. The very last thing I expected was to have to confront a centuries-old enemy of mine who wanted something I possessed. Then there was the rather important thing my sire, Robert, never told me. But honestly...the most incomprehensible thing to me was the real reason I was drawn to this place...to find and fall in love with the creature who owns my heart.

Amazing listen

I’ve listened to this series at least four times. The story behind it is amazing and some of the twists and turns are just surprising.

Loved it !

Great story and the performance, absolutely amazing. John Solo is my absolute favorite voice actor. His narration made it so I couldn’t wait to listen.

The best!

Absolutely fantastic series. I could have listened to five more books of this. The couples were perfect, the world building amazing, and the comedy relief was fantastic. I actually loved the "letters to the editor". , they were hilarious and charming and gave more insite to the town. the reader was one of the best I've ever heard. everyone should give it a listen.

GREAT SERIES!!

Loved Rome and Vincent along with all the other cheaters. LOVED their love story.. Also Sam and Greg's story was very cute. One thing I did not like was the voice John used for Greg. He was a wolf that always talked about how he thought he was not very smart. I felt like the voice used for him was not someone who thought they were stupid but more of a bratty winney kid. It kind of got on my nerves. But all other voices were good. Also I thought the story was great. Also enjoyed the letters to the editor. some were really funny.

Good Series

I love this series! I do however hate the voice that the narrator gives Greg, the new werewolf Alpha. Yes, everyone has always considered him to be "slower" than everyone else, but the way he is voiced comes off really extra-foresst Gump like, even when he is talking seriously & intelligently.

Sad it ended

This series is amazing. Each book is a complete joy to read. I love Vincent and Rome, Greg and Sam, plus all the other characters of this small town. The letters to the editor are hilarious. Some are puns tied into the story, but mostly, they're just outrageously nonsensical, and I love it! All the loose ends were tied up nicely, but the ending felt rushed. John Solo did very well with the many different voices he had to portray. I especially loved how he voiced Hannibal, making him sound like the adorable child he is.

everything was amazing!

first, I have come to love solo as a narrator. his range of voices and inflection and emotion *chef's kiss*
second, I truly love the characters and how they all interact in small and big ways throughout the series.
but that end was so quick, I got whiplash

What a journey!

I truly enjoyed this series. Roman and Vincent's journey in finding love and happiness through all the chaos was quite entertaining. John Solo did a fantastic job bring the characters to life!

Good narration, writing needs work

It's a decent listen over all. The narrator really did the heavy lifting, but the story idea is good. The letters to the editor are a cute idea, but it's kind of a stumbling block when trying to get into the story, not to mention completely nonsensical. This part is just me being knit picky, but prey animals are the ones being preyed upon, not the predator. Completely independent of the actual story, but when rabbit shifters are constantly referring to the "prey animals" hunting and eating them, all I can picture is a rabid cow or something stalking through the redwoods.

Everything said and done, I enjoyed the series and plan to look into more from this author. Few things are more satisfying than seeing a good author improve into a great author. Hope this is the case!
