Publisher's summary

Jaded rock star Demetri Daniels is in Hell - also known as Seaside, Oregon. Sent to rehab after nearly getting himself killed last year, his record company wants nothing more than for him to lay low, away from the limelight. Irritated and more alone than he's ever been in his life, Demetri tries desperately to rebuild his shattered reputation as a drug addict and player, which proves to be difficult when he meets Alyssa.

Alyssa is everything he should stay away from. She's beautiful, smart, but above all else, she's damaged. And one thing Demetri has learned is two broken hearts don't equal a whole. In the end, he has to decide if he can rise above the life he's created in learning from his past mistakes, or fall into the darkness of his choices.

This is a New Adult novel - minor language, drug usage, and sexual situations. Not appropriate for younger listeners.

Another good listen

I enjoyed this book also. Different take on Rocker books. Yes I know I go on about the narration but that is what makes an audible book even if you have a good book if the narration is wrong than the book is no good. I enjoyed the narrators in this series. They did an ok job on doing the male and female voices. Worth the credit.

Satisfaction guaranteed!

This was a great continuation to the first books! I was so glad to hear the way Demetri matured. He truly becomes a responsible, and intelligent person who cares for others. And he remains funny and charming.... I was truly impressed with the way the story deals and approaches grief.

Great Read

Pull (Seaside #2) was a great read by Rachel Van Dyken. Demetri Daniels is in his own hell, also known as Seaside, Oregon. He almost got himself killed last year and his record company sent him to rehab. Demetri wants to rebuild his reputation as a drug addict and player, which becomes difficult when he meets Alyssa. Alyssa is smart and beautiful but also damaged from a past trauma. I really enjoyed reading Demetri and Alyssa's story and cant wait to read more by the author.

Good story

This is Demetri’s story of trying to work though his addiction and life. This was an enjoyable story and looking forward to the next seaside book.

Great Series!

So book #2 of the Seaside series delivered even more drama and great banter! Loving this series.

Jaded rock star, Demetri Daniels, is in Hell — also known as Seaside, Oregon. Sent to rehab after nearly getting himself killed last year, his record company wants nothing more than for him to lay low, away from the limelight.

Irritated and more alone than he’s ever been in his life, Demetri tries desperately to rebuild his shattered reputation as a drug addict and player, which proves to be difficult when he meets Alyssa.

Alyssa is everything he should stay away from. She’s beautiful, smart, but above all else, she’s damaged. And one thing Demetri has learned is two broken hearts don’t equal a whole.
In the end, he has to decide if he can rise above the life he’s created in learning from his past mistakes, or fall into the darkness of his choices.

Since Demetri was not the brother for Nat! Will he be the right one for Alyssa? This book was another good read. I really love all the characters in this series! So I thought there was drama in book 1 well look out cause there is even more drama in book 2! You really should read this series! Better yet get the audio book cause its great!

Pull (Seaside #2)

After everything Demetri has gone through with Alec, Nat, and the car accident he's finally clean and close to finishing rehab and therapy. With Alec doing promotion for the band in advance of them starting to tour again Demetri realizes how solitary is life really is. When Demetri and Alyssa have a battle of whits while fighting over taffy stores Alyssa manages to spark Demetri's interest.
Demetri doesn't know that Alyssa is still morning the loss of her high school boyfriend that died in a car accident they were both in. Alyssa doesn't know that Demetri is morning the loss of his girlfriend and nephew.

No one should be told how to grieve but I felt that Alyssa was holding on to the past way too tightly, and for someone who had felt loss she was very judgmental of someone else's pain and what could be considered loss for them.

Overall it was a great continuation from the other books in the series and it makes me so happy that Demetri got his own book.

The Audio for the book was very well done. Great performance from Luci Christian and Aaron Landon. They were great with the characters and voices.

Good Continuation

I really felt for Dimitri in the first couple so I was happy to see his story but my god how much heartbreak can these kids take?! I've been in the mood for not so fluffy so this one hit that spot for me. Narration was again done well.

Great book!!!

This book had a great storyline & rectified the two previous books. This book was romantically funny & kept you on edge. Having two narrators was a good idea. Glad Dem got a break!
