This book came to me in the right time

I’m in the process of signing a contract to join a Business Consulting Firm while in the same time busy with establishing my own business. I used to hate a Job and I’ve been jumping from one job to another since 2013. Your book has came to me in the right time to kill the confusion I have for about 3 years ago and has opened my eyes to a new reality ( new me). From the bottom of my heart, thank you and may Allah bless you with all blessings.
Regards

Pretty good

It was enjoyable listen but what I gained was only average. The concepts behind not quitting your current job until you are fully ready was well broken down and plenty of analogies/real life examples.

Very good read.

Explaining the transition from your job to dream job was outstanding. Embedded with that is to have respect and integrity toward your current job while understanding it's a means to the end goal. Great job Jon!

Style and Grace

I'd first met Jon while listening to Dave Ramsey podcasts.
I had originally purchased this book as part of a set and I shelved it.
I'm glad I did because it made me get this recording whose extra content alone was worth the price of admission.
This book is for people looking for a more fulfilling career whether that's where they are right now or where they want to be.
This book is most definitely worth your time

Just what I needed to hear.

He hit all the points I had been contemplating. Also addressed some things I hadn’t thought of. This book gave me a workable timeline for the big leap.

Practical book on your dream job and your current job

I loved this book. At first (and throughout) the author sounds like a big kid. It was hard to take him seriously at first. Then you realize that he has some good real-life experience and he's learned some really insightful lessons. What I love is that he also reminds us to look for the good in our current jobs and how that keeps you going until you have your dream job. It's a perspective I had not heard before. But really, it's how practical the advice is that I liked. It's literally a how-to not just theory. He admits his mistakes in a funny way and the listener can picture these things happening. I might listen to it again right away to better capture some of the learnings.
