About this listen

Three strong, independent, and protective badasses are on the cusp of romance when tragedy and disaster come at them like a landslide. While they chase down a sex trafficking kingpin with a devious plan, life throws one challenge after another in their path.

Grumpy Phoenix sniper Storm wears a perpetual frown to keep others at bay. There's a reason they call him stormy, which has nothing to do with the color of his eyes. He equates communicating with people to chewing on glass. It's not that he doesn't want to connect, it's just that he sucks at it.

Easygoing FBI Agent Roscoe Burns navigates an unexpected tragedy that sends his comfortable world in a tailspin right when he's found what he wants in life. But then, sometimes life has a way of providing the extraordinary.

Spirited Phoenix tracker Wild is reeling from a past he thought he'd left behind. When a golden chance for something greater emerges, his propensity to overthink things might just ruin his chances.

Can three strong men survive the trials they face, or will history destroy them all?

Contains mature themes.

Liked this one. The relationship was a nice portraile. Have not read many. Narration was good as always. Looking for the next one.

Tristan James is on my top five list of favorite narrators. Unfortunately, he doesn't have the range of voices necessary for this many characters. There were times when he even got the voices mixed up which was very annoying. When you have a trio as the MC's you need to keep the voices very distinct which he didn't do adequately.
The story itself was enjoyable and less violent that the first two, which I appreciated. The menage was a little to emotional for me and the speed of the relationship was a little to fast.
AND the story continues. It is not HEA or even HFN.

Good but not best in series

I've read this series several times and thought I'd give the audiobooks a shot. it is painful and awkward in many spots. There is little to no variation in voices and suddenly in the last book Mama Bear developed a Spanish accent. I just don't know, I'm going to keep going and hope it improves. What kills me is he has a fantastic voice, he just can't vary them enough.

Love the MMM characters

Would I listen to it again: yes ✔
Did the story keep me engaged: yes ✔
Was I invested in the characters: yes ✔

📖 I listened to all 5 books in the Out for Justice series back to back and loved every one of them. My review covers the whole series in general because there is a story arc that is built on in each book so the full series really needs to be listened to to get all the answers, but that was OK, because the series is well developed, each story is action packed, full of tension and excitement, has good pace, likeable characters, really bad-bad guys who get what's coming to them, and overall I was happy with the conclusion. 😊

🎧 Tristan James was a good choice of narrator for this series and he did a great job with the narration. Each character had his own voice and was consistently maintained throughout the series. I had no problem distinguishing characters and his rhythm, inflections and intonations all worked to bring the characters to life.

👍👍 Overall a excellent series that I thoroughly enjoyed and will happily listen to again.

This is one of my favorites in this series. 3 very different men but all in need of love and care.
I would have liked the narrator to have a little more variation with the character voices but it was still ok.

Love this story!

So freaking great. I’m usually wary of three way romances because authors use sex as a crutch. Knightley didn’t do that here. The connection between the trio is well established before they have sex, but once they do it is smoking. Another great installment. I bought the rest of the series before I was done with book one and have no regrets. Not only is this book plotted perfectly but so is the overall plot of the entire series.

Well written

Story was enjoyable when read, but honestly very difficult to follow as narrator did have enough voice range and consistently to understand characters and storyline

Read it, not a good Audible

I wasn't expecting the story to be a menaje a trois. I had a hard time buying it especially with alpha males.

beefcake threeway

It is very hard to follow the narrative because these people are referred to by first name, last name, nickname (which are all very silly), or role separately. I have no idea what's going on in the scenes because of this, and it ruins the story. If they go by code name, stick with that, even if they're all really dumb and bad.
