Worked for me!!!!
I am in my late 40s and have been working on losing weight (what feels like a decade). I’ve tried hypnosis before and thought I would check this out. I noticed within 2-3 days that I started to eat less without even consciously doing so. I could also pass on snacks etc. when I never could before. It did take about a week and a half before I could really fall asleep or go into hypnosis with the recording, but the positive messaging is great! I recommend I’d you’re not too picky about perfect quality in a recording

Good hypnotic content but needs more chapters
Content was good and sound hypnotic practice. I know because I too am an hypnotherapist. Chapters 1 and 2 are great and the music after the guided meditation is soothing. However, overall rating I gave it a three because I wish it had at least 5 episodes or chapters of content, there are more aspects to weight loss than just the 2 pieces provided.

This was a total disappointment
The opening narration sounds like someone is about to die by the hands of a sea monster or King Joffrey! For real, why on earth would you layer the sounds of VIOLENTLY crashing waves on top of an eerie, suspenseful 'music' and expect anyone to be able to focus on your voice and words? The sounds were louder and as loud as his words. I listened for about 15 min before the noise in background stopped to a more peaceful sound at which time his narration suggested I was in the 2nd phase of hypnosis lol. I am an open minded person, in fact, I bought his other audible 'Extreme weightloss' which I did find to be more suited for helping people relax. I enjoyed it enough that when I saw his name on this title, I didn't even think twice about downloading. Boy, imagine my disappointment, not just with the opening part but realizing he literally used the same exact audio for the narration on this one as he did on the other hypnosis book, Save your money, your credit, and definitely your time cause this one is a complete waste of it.

Not my favorite
This Audible was not up to standards. It was poorly edited and felt disjointed with mysterious starts and stops. Also, the long pauses and eerie meditation music was discomforting.
I listened to it a couple of times but it’s really not a favorite for me. I can’t recommend it. I prefer Thielke’s similar audiobook.

Made me anxious!
I was looking forward to this book, but dear lord, when the narrator has to speak over the ocean waves, ( way to much), how in the h*** is anyone going to relax?

Great relaxing music, that makes up the majority of this title!
If you’re looking for help in losing weight and control your appetite, keep searching. This title had no impact whatsoever despite having owned it for over a year and playing it frequently ever hope-full always disappointed.
If you’re looking for music that will help you drift off to and keep you relaxed you can spend the money on this title, or invest in a good app with a white noise generation.
The weight loss industry makes billions from people looking for a solution, Seeking some level of help we pop pills,we invest in gyms, home exercise equipment, diets, meal plans, exercise programs, apps by famous celebrities, infomercial products, hypnosis and audible books apparently. LoL All this in the quest to look like those flawless models, or to drop a dress size from a 4 to a 2. While i am guilty of some of those items above, I will not blindly buy another Joel Thielke book, where 3/4 is music and he phones in effort to serve his customers.
To all of you out there, I wish you luck in the quest. May you all be blessed to reach your goals, and good health be yours and your loved ones too.
