The second half of this book was just about as good as the first book, my same critique as the first. I think this book could have been done in one book but nonetheless still a good storyline. I love Rush and I don't think the authors could have picked a better narrator than Sebastian York.

I listened to the first one in this series, Rebel Heir, almost exactly one year ago. I’d gotten the download of it free from an author’s newsletter. Then I was so disappointed that this one wasn’t available from my library, or in Audible Escape at the time, because I wasn’t paying for the monthly credit from Audible at that time, only for the Escape package. So when I got another deal to sign up for a cheap few months on Audible, I joined that way again. I’d quit even the Escape package with not driving anywhere. And this was the first audiobook I bought, so I could find out what was next. I mean the cliffhanger was major in book 1! I was mad that she didn’t tell him right away like she should have. And while I get him being upset, I felt like he could have figured it out a little quicker with what his background had been like. But I was happy when he finally figured it out, and that the last part of the book had more to do with some other stuff and they knew they’d be good together. All in all a really good series, with lots of love and steam!

I wrote a sort of a bad review on the 1st book, but I knew I couldn't have not give a listen to this one, as much as frustrated it made me. I'm glad I did give it a chance, since it was beautiful! great love story ❤

keep a you wanting more this story of absolute shock and romance kept my brain and heart in over drive. I was speaking out load to know one as I was absorbed into their story.

Loved it. The characters are brought to life with these narrators! You can "see" every scene. Definitely worth the read, or listen, actually!!

Ok- so I have been on a 5 book Vi K & P W binge this week. Their books have been like crack to me this week. 5 books in 4 days... ALL THE FEELS!!! 💓😲🔥🔥🔥😆🤗😭😢🤯🤭These authors are just INCREDIBLE !!! Worth 100 credits and EVERY minute of sleep I lost staying up listening every night bc I just couldn't put it down!!

Wonderful conclusion to the story! As always, Sebastian York gave a great performance narrating. 5+ stars for him.

I loved how Gia and Rush became friends first and enjoyed how easy and relaxing it was. The narrators were great, except the fact that I hated when it was in Gia’s POV the voice she made for Rush. It was weird and distracting. Took a while to get used to. I felt that it took away from the story line.
