Transformational stuff!

I’m currently working on transitioning to a whole-food plant-based diet and this book was very motivating and practical. It has all the facts and science but told in a very engaging way. I listened to it all in one sitting. It also has a useful resources section and easy recipes. A free was included so I could be inspired by the photos and recipes. I also loved the author’s take on being kind to yourself while transitioning (and also to extend understanding and compassion to others who are not enlightened yet).

Worth it for the stories and the recipes.

I found the author’s perspective and stories about coming from a dairy farm to be very inspiring. Todd has a way with words and is so positive and encouraging. It is all wonderfully produced and narrated.

And the recipes at the back are great. There is a free PDF of the recipes so you can see the beautiful photos and read along to the including cookbook. My favorite is the celebration curry!

All you need to go vegan in this post-pandemic

This is the most up-to-date book on veganism that I have seen. It encompasses the post-pandemic pressures and insights of living vegan in this new normal we all find ourselves in. I think both vegans and non-vegans can enjoy how the author builds his case. Compassionate Revolution is a stunning chapter that brings the vegan debate to another level for a new age. Great sound as well!
