About this listen

Life is marked by a variety of losses, says certified trauma specialist H. Norman Wright. Some are life-changing, such as leaving home, the effects of natural disasters or war, the death of a loved one, or divorce. Others are subtle, such as changing jobs, moving, or a broken friendship. But whether listeners encounter family, personal, or community disaster, there is always potential for change, growth, new insight, understanding, and refinement.

Writing from his own experience, Wright covers such issues as the meaning of grief, blaming God, and learning how to express and share in times of loss.

A really good book. Great examples of losses and how to cope with each one.

My not understanding how to grieve or even understanding my need to grieve in my life losses, I am now working through what I had thought I had already processed over the past 12 years of recovery from losses from childhood through adulthood. The material attached has been a help in doing this processing and is improving my communication of these losses. thank you for writing a book that is applicable to everyone.
