About this listen

There is a silent epidemic spreading like wildfire among women - and no one seems to be talking about it. It's in our boardrooms, classrooms, and living rooms on every continent, and it's creating depression, stress, and isolation. Who is this culprit?

Meet your Inner Mean Girl, the judgmental, critical, and belittling inner bully that almost every woman hears running through her mind on a daily basis. The Inner Mean Girl creates undue anxiety, cajoles you into making bad choices, and then berates you when they don't work out. But there is a cure.

Reform Your Inner Mean Girl introduces the universal seven-step program that helps women transform their relationships with themselves from self-sabotage to self-love. With a mix of play, humor, creativity, and self-inquiry, Reform Your Inner Mean Girl transforms a woman's self-bullying thoughts, emotions, actions, and feelings and helps her get in touch with a much more powerful voice - her Inner Wisdom. After graduating, women can finally make choices that create more happiness, peace, love, and success.

Clap Trap

I can only imagine the community that has sprung up around this "movement."
Aside from the adolescent sounding recording, the content, at its best (which is a low bar to start with), is either common sense or available by having a cup of tea with a good friend. Are there really women in the world who are so bereft of good mirrors that they pay money to be told these bromides? Dont waste your money - wish I hadnt wasted mine.

Not for me.

Each step of this is trying to sell further products, community and seminars. It's like an episode of sharktank. Except your shark is anxiety and shame. It's easy to sell to someone trying to get help. Look for Kristin Neff Ph D and Self Compassion for actual help. If it's more difficult to read/listen to, then maybe check out How to Be Yourself by Ellen Hendriksen Ph D. What's offered here is playtime with imaginary figures from ladies struggling with self esteem, the creators of Reform Your Inner Mean Girl have zero qualifications from studying and research. If you're hoping for help supported by scientific research with shame or anxiety, then look elsewhere.
