About this listen

The Fosk-ha spent a thousand years traveling to Earth.

Violent, world-subjugating void travelers, they’ve terrorized and enslaved civilizations across the galaxy for countless eons. Humanity doesn’t stand a chance...or do they?

A truck driver with a history of illegal street racing, a cop unwilling to back down from bullies and terrorists, and a game designer who’s learning to put theory into action; an unlikely crew to save the world, but somebody has to fight back.

I was surprised at how much I loved this book. I listened to this straight through. I enjoyed the story And characters. It was action packed and never lulled. I’m on to the next book in the series.

I really liked this!!

The author did a great job carrying my interest from the first book (Invasion Day: They came for blood book 1). As I stated in my review of book one, I am no fan of vampire stories. I generally avoid them. It was because of this author I took a chance and glad I did.

Generally, stories about blood sucking enemies lose my interest at warp speed. That was NOT this book. This was more Sci-Fi earth invasion than vampire. In fact, it was loaded with gritty action and hard choices. The protagonists were relatable, and enemies thoroughly hate-able.

The narrator was the right person for this job.

I found myself glued and fully entertained from the first to the last chapter. I am glad I took the chance. I was not disappointed but found myself buying the third book before I was finished with this one.

Highly recommend. 5 stars, all three categories.

Action all day, every day

Use the same narrator for the next book(s). I like the way the characters back story was written in Not to much back story just enough to give you a sense of their characters. Great action and drama kept the story going. Just one thing though give Charles some back bone after all he wants his family back.

Pretty good

One of the few audiobooks I listen to for days straight to get to the ending!
Great characters and plenty of action

Loved it!

This book was included in my membership and I'm glad. While trying not to spend too much on audio books I have been exposed to too many awful books. Life is too short for bad books. This is the second book in the series, good, not great and worth a listen.

worth a listen

The 2nd installment is very action packed at time and others it rambles a bit too long in my opinion. But the story definitely keeps you engaged and leaves you craving more.

Awesome story

the character development is second to none every time you're introduced to someone new within a couple of chapters feel like you know these people like lifelong neighbors there's a few NPC along the way and even they are interesting. so far this is one of my favorite invasion stories. what a different take on alien technology physiology biology . with so many different cast of alien characters it's never boring.

so awesome!

Kind of a let down after one and two, I’m not into cars, so the car races were kind of boring.

Not the best

Scott Moon is or was badge toting criminal. he writes excellent crooked and dirty cop characters!! He fails miserablly at writing out actually BASIC MILITARY TACTICS! Im talking like he google infantry tactics for basic trainees!! He also writes these stories with an undertone of submitting to perceived and unconstitutional authority! That is what most bad cops want. They want civilians to do as they say or they have unchecked power and authority to break every bone of those that do not submit. Theway and words he uses in his books, well it is a form of brain washing people that read these type books and having clue of what to do or how to survive the apocalypse or alien invasion. if you allow people you do not know, or those that claim to be in charge, but you are such a sheep, pure prey, and you would willingly submit and lovingly let them restrain you? You are a weak thread in Humanity's gene pool! The oxygen intake of those weak threads, even lowered to zero, is still too high a cost for the keeping of parasitic personnel!
i want my $$$$ back!!!

how horrible the author is at writing
