I loved hearing how all of the pieces fell into place

Great finale to the series, really hits you in the feels at times, satisfying answers to many mysteries.

Would've loved to dive into the history, tech, and culture of the more advanced aliens encountered by our whole group of humans. I know the big conspiracy has been solved but a series based on the mysterious sector of space and what is found out there would be fantastic.

Also slightly disappointed there was no surprise cryo time skip reveal for Kahlari so that her and Zax would be the same age at the end but the way things ended was still quite satisfying and I understand why things played out the way they did.

Tremendous Conclusion

This book is a fitting conclusion to the world Jerry Aubin created with The Ship Series. The fleshed out characters that sprung from his imagination evolved during this five book series and the reader never stops empathizing with, and pulling for, them to succeed. The propensity for evil and benevolence, human conditions unlikely to be altered by future technology, are on full display as the author drags you along with them on their journeys and struggles. A great final book and a great series I could not recommend it more.
Regards,
Sam Thompson

Excellent ending

Honestly the best portions of the book are the back story of the past 3 books, I spent the last week eating these up!

One of the main characters “calari” or however it spelled ruined the story! She was a terrible friend made out to be some super hero in the end. With friends like that, who needs enemies!? 😂 Great story, but that bugged me throughout. I guess loyalty is something I value more than most. Thats the reason for 4 stars on story..
