So thankful for this audiobook.
So thankful for this audiobook. I've been having a lot of trouble managing and thru following this advice in this audiobook (specifically about buying a glucose meter and testing my food), came to find out I was pre-diabetic. In 3 short weeks, I've lowered my fasting blood sugar level into normal and am now getting the upper hand with MRSA.

Very easy to listen this audiobook.
This lovely large audiobook is full of colorful illustrations and is printed on nice thick paper. It's easy to understand, it's not overly complicated, and it's an especially good resource for beginners. I wouldn't recommend this being the only guide for Tarot cards in your collection, but it's a good starting point. I've had this audiobook in my collection for a few years now and I still reach for it regularly.

Very impressed. Easy listen about a hard subject
First of all, a little background. I was diagnosed a couple of weeks ago with T2, and my doctor basically told me to avoid white bread, sugar, rice and potatoes, and sent me on my way with an RX for Metformin and a glucose meter. Seriously? I was clueless, and terrified. Since I couldn't find a local educational class on it, I bought several (more than 10) books on the subject. Some of them I couldn't even listen to because the narration was so terrible. One guy sounded like he was on a trampoline and practicing to be a DJ at the same time, with the weird way he stressed syllables. One guy pronounced "vegan" "vee-jan" and "queue" "coy-u" and other such weirdness. One guy, I wanted to fall asleep, and did a few times. Then I finally got to this book. I wished I'd started with it! This was the most informative book I've read so far, and the narrator is a joy to listen to. She takes a very dry subject and her voice captures you. She has a beautiful accent that makes you want to pay attention and absorb what is a very important subject matter. Why can't all informative books have such a great narrator?

I loved this audiobook very much
I loved this audiobook , it features the latest research in diabetes and how to tackle it successfully. I've read some reviews and many complain it is too strict. This tells me some are having a hard time choosing between getting rid of diabetes and losing limbs, going blind, etc., just to enjoy a meal?

Very helpful audiobook for diabetes.
Great companion audiobook to the Stopping Kidney Disease audiobook . Using the two books together I think has literally saved my life. Lots of information in both audiobooks about a disease that is shockingly ignored until it hits critical. Knowledge is power. Highly recommended.
