About this listen

The Courtship of Carol Sommars
Peter Sommars is 15, and what he needs is a little more independence - which is why he'd like his mom, Carol, to start dating. He even knows the perfect man: Alex Preston, his best friend's dad. As it turns out, Alex is interested, but Carol's doing everything she can to sidestep his pursuit. Which only makes Alex - and the boys - more determined!

Father's Day
Robin Masterson's 10-year-old son, Jeff, figures he needs a dog more than anything in the world. And there just happens to be one right next door! But the friendly black Lab belongs to Cole Camden, the unfriendliest man in the neighborhood. Still, Jeff persists…and soon his mom and Cole are looking at each other in a whole new way.

Excellent read

I loved this book. Very realistic and clean-- which is Debbie M. style. I like that. The narrator was good. You would not make a mistake by using your credit towards this one.

Excellent Read

What made this book even better was the reader. No matter how good a book is, if the reader isn't good, it spoils the book a bit.

Great book, Awesome narrator!

This is the first Debbie Macomber book I've ever read, and I wasn't disappointed. This particular one was great value due to the 2 in 1 story contained in the title. I do agree with the other comment though, that the best thing about THIS audible book was Angela Dawe's narration. She made all the characters real, and brought the author's words to life! I may have to look out for more books narrated by her just to hear her again!

entertaining

Two fast-paced romantic novels. No high-flown literature but solid romance, politically correct and as sweet as sugar. An extra star for the excellent narration.

Alex the male protagonist I'd be scared of him

if I had a man act like that towards me like Alex does I would be scared. He said he was going to take her to dinner and he took her to his house. He asked her to marry him after they've been out 3 or 4 times and she said well I'd like to have a year to think about it and get to know you and he's like I'll give you two weeks.

What woman in their right in mind , no matter how handsome a guy is , would go along with this?
