About this listen

Rock Paper Scissors is the latest exciting domestic thriller from the queen of the killer twist, New York Times best-selling author Alice Feeney.

Think you know the person you married? Think again....

Things have been wrong with Mr. and Mrs. Wright for a long time. When Adam and Amelia win a weekend away to Scotland, it might be just what their marriage needs. Self-confessed workaholic and screenwriter Adam Wright has lived with face blindness his whole life. He can’t recognize friends or family, or even his own wife.

Every anniversary the couple exchanges traditional gifts - paper, cotton, pottery, tin - and each year Adam’s wife writes him a letter that she never lets him read. Until now. They both know this weekend will make or break their marriage, but they didn’t randomly win this trip. One of them is lying, and someone doesn’t want them to live happily ever after.

Ten years of marriage. Ten years of secrets. And an anniversary they will never forget.

Audiobook review- I’m not usually a huge fan of more than one narrator, but since it’s a small cast of characters, it works perfectly.

Story review- Shes genuinely become one of my favorite authors with her use of unreliable narrators. Some suspense writers will use really cheap “twists” in the story to throw the reader off at the very end and in hindsight there were zero clues leading up to it. Alice leaves little bread crumbs and connects the dots at the end which really shows a well thought out story. And makes for a fun second read when you can spot all the clues. Can’t wait for the next book!

Alice Feeney never disappoints

This is one of the best books I’ve ever listened to. It kept my interest start to finish. I often fade out at the end of a book and get antsy for it to end as the the predictable plot slowly plays out. This book held my interest till the very end.

Smart twist with a great story. The narrator’s did an excellent job!

This book includes a major plot twist. I was floored and had to pause it for a few minutes just to wrap my brain around it!

This was such a good telling of the story, the narrators did such a good job. Their narration really made the book feel extra creepy. I think I probably enjoyed it more than if I had read it. I definitely appreciated the twists at the end. One of which had me gasping.

Sinister and creepy

There were times I thought one of the characters droned on and on, but then the last few chapters blew me away with the twists and turns of the ending. I am so glad I stuck it out, because it was an amazing book.
