About this listen

Demon Accords number 10. When a hunter is brutally mauled in northern Maine, it's presumed that a black bear is the killer. But an astute local deputy suspects a more supernatural element. His call for assistance is answered by the supernatural community sending one of their very best. If it takes a thief to catch a thief, who do you use to catch a werewolf? But nothing is ever simple in the preternatural world. There's more here than meets the eye... nose... ear... or fang.

This series needs to be a TV series

I'm completely addicted to this series! I waited patiently for Rogues, and finished it in a day. Life can be so cruel. Awesome writing Conroe! And Cronin, your voice acting is on point! If there were 100 stars, I'd give it 1000! Obviously, I'm as good with math as Declan!

Love these books

This is probably the best series of books I have ever heard. I find myself excited about every new installment. However you really need to listen to them in order to appreciate these novels fully.i encourage anyone who enjoys urban fantasy read or listen to these stories.

Solid continuation of the story

Love the solid cast of characters across these books. nice addition of Omega and teasing around new concerns - alien, fairy, and yes, still demons and governments.

Great Series - Thanks Audible

Have loved all these audiobooks and this newest one is full of new twists and turns. As always the narrator is great. Hope it doesn't take a year for the next one.

Still great, not as much as others, but still wow!

This story takes an interesting turn and is good enough to be a stand alone. By the end, per usual with this series, just can't put it down!

A bit disappointing

While the plot arc is a great one, this episode seems to be there, not to contribute to the adventure, but more like a really long add break... you know.. where the aim was to sell air time.

Outstanding!

Yet another incredibly well crafted and immensely entertaining installment in the "Demon Accord" Universe. Mr. Conroe has the ability to make all characters shine even in there roles of support to the main characters. I find myself equally as interested in these individuals and their back stories as I am in Tanya and Chris's plot!
Action, slow romance, detailed world and story building with clever dialogue... and who doesn't love a good Chuck Norris joke?! I found myself laughing out loud quite a few times at the witty back and forthing between Lydia and Declan.
Do I even need to say that I recommend this title as a stand alone or series. A must read!

1It was never required before what's up with that?

It was never required before what's up with that? That's a crying shame? So what has changed?

Sexy gun porn with a precocious AI

Good story but I really do get tired of the constant reminders about how stunningly gorgeous the MCs are and the neverending gun descriptions of she loaded the Blumingten AR-69 clip with 12.34 cauliflower magnum heavy hollow platinum rounds before she indexed her pinkie toe. I picture the author sitting at his keyboard, repeatedly glancing at a long list of guns and ammunition types that he wants to make sure he fits into each book. And did I mention how gorgeous the main characters are? While I was listening I had a problem with believing that she would have repeatedly shared personal information about her friends and her relationships with them to total strangers. I understand that it was a way to show the reader that she likes a guy but also has doubts that she's working through, but she just met these people like five minutes ago! I liked the guest characters in this one, the cops, hunting guides, lawyers. I liked Omega's introduction to the group. The mystery aspect was interesting, and the badguy and minions were suitable for the storyline. Oh, and the main characters are gorgeous and they have a gun. And they're gorgeous,

Conroe Moves the Story Along

Fits well with previous volumes. I was concerned how Conroe would move the story along. Well done.
